GILERA runner VXR 200 workshop

Hello peeps, just wanna check with you weather there is any shop do vxr06 headlamp like st200? neither spray, tinted sticker, and stuff like that, any kind soul know how to DIY ? can teach ? or where to buy those tinted(sticker) and stuff. I heard when rain water does go in headlight? cause of the glue taken out if DIY or shop? help help

orite guys, my 1st tym here as i nvr hav a gilera b4....... some qns.1st) is maintaining a gilera EX??? 2nd) Does the bike lasts, i mean easy spoil due to usage. 3) fuel consumption for std, how much? 4) Lastly, change pipe any diff??

Firstly, u must find out what amp is the horn drawing..If it's lower or same with the stock draw, then u can make do without a relay..

To Shadowzz - you know where is 219 motorshop? you go along lavendar street you will see it. auntie shop is opposite it. but i will advise you to go 219 better. auntie shop a bit attitude and if you new bird they will anyhow quote you also. 219 more approachable and try to bargain wit them if possible. =)

hi! guys i just owned a 2006 runner vxr for less then a month and lately i been hearing this thing when i hit a light bump or going downslope the mechanics at my bike shop said its nothing its on the the suspension spring hitting against the spring pole there are somelight scratches but i think thats not it as i hear its something hitting against the tires can someone help me??? where is the sound coming from?

mudguard innner one or the outside one? but its together in one piece with the spring it follows the bump.

Hi guys...I need some help here...Just got my Gilera runner last week..Did a full tank top up on Sat and I've hit 130km so far..But my fuel gauge is left with only 2 bars now. Is the fuel gauge accurate? Why doesn't the fuel low indicator light up? For the 07 VXR, is the fuel tank 12.2 litres? If so, i guess I'm facing a damn high FC problem. Is it worn out piston /rings? or something else?

Just pumped 8.1 litres for a coverage of 141km only! Can someone tell me wads wrong?

whoa thats worse den mine. i pump 10l for 250km. ard 23-25km/l. my is fully stock. not too sure de reason for poor f/c. new to runner too. any bro here can recommend some tips to improve f/c?

should i go back to the shop i bought from for a full service again? According to the shop, they did oil change, new belt and rollers. What should i ask the shop to do further? wash carb? air filter? anything else? There's this 1 month warranty from the shop. Anyone can help?

Runner full tank capacity got 10l??

 

All along even when i drain mine till near dry, i only manage to squeeze in 8l odd..And it's those overflowing kind..

My bad..coz i was looking at some websites..and they mentioned 10L. Did a pump and yes..its 8L odd..So what can i ask the shop to change to maybe improve my FC? Air/oil filter? wash carb etc.?

try to ride at constant speed...

gradual moving off from stationary position instead of blasting away your throttle...

but it all depends on the riders riding style...
