Dear all

 

I bought over my fren.s bike about 5 yrs ago without the master key.. Now left only the red service key.

 

Anyone knows where to clone a key in case my service key lost.

Next to LAB (Lim Ah Boy) is a shop offering key cutting service. He stock italian keys especially piaggio and gilera. normal key should be $5 and

$40(if i remember correctly) with program chip and he will program it for you on the spot. Where is LAB? Kelantan Lane. Once you reach there you can ask any biker there. Cheers.

Hi. I wonder how to fix audio system in my Gilera ST200. Had saw lots of video but still no idea how. Can any1 here tel me how to put it inside my bike? Put at which place? Need to open hole for my speaker?? Need help please.

what sort of speakers are u looking for? and what's ur budget? how do u like to custom ur work bro? u have to elaborate... anyone can fit any speaker that could run on a 12v battery. but it's where you want to mount it and keep it neat.

Hi. Today morning I just meet an incident. I was goin to work when it suddenly rain heavily. Den I realize that my bike start to slow down and become very noisy and my engine die. And I hv to start the bike again and move off. But this problem continue and I decided to go to a nearby Bikeshop. The Bikeshop told me maybe is my carburetor went in water and they take out and service it. Den they take out my spark plug and told me that the spark plug had shocked but the spark plug I just change just less den a mth and I use iridium. So hv to change. But after I hv done all these things, the bike can run. The problem now is, y suddenly my bike will become like tat? Y the spark plug can get shocked?Some1 told me tat Gilera can't start on heavy rain time. Y? Can someone explain? As I dun want this to happen again.

are you running on open port set up my friend? If you are, there is no need for u to change the spark plug... just drain the carburetor by turning the overflow tube screw and run the bike on idle for about 20 secs. ur bike should now be free of water in the carb and fuel tank.

LAB selling but not with "gilera" printed on. If u want original short one can try any scoot shops in Kallang or Malossi Singapore at Rowell Rd. Its nearby LAB also..

Need advice on how to keep my rear suspension wrap from rotating about when riding. I tried using cable tie but still no use. Any advice?

I'm riding a gilera runner, recently I found out that the lock for my seat does not work properly. If I pull hard the seat can just be lifted.

 

Anyone can advice where can I fix it and if possible the price range please...

Check that your lock is not jammed or stick together as in the mechanism, it happens especially after rain. Spray with WD-40 to loosen up the lock mechanism inside the key hole and the hook mechanism too. if it still don't work, best is go piaggio at genting since if you need to get a new lock you can always get it immediately on the 3rd floor spare parts. I fnot you can try tai hin @ ubi, future scooter @Kallang...etc. Don't worry about going to agent the spare parts price is resonable unless of course you know the market value.

If it's loose then some screw might have come off or something is broken. most probably something is broken. BTW which model FXR, SP, VXR or ST?

So far cheapest around i checked is $250 2nd hand, Engine oil $25-$28, coolant $20 or less, Labour $150-$200 depends on how much work need to be done as 2nd hand items.

Hi winsontoh. Thanks for the help. But anw, my gilera is all original stock. And now they said, they drop the price to $750. Isn't it still pricey?

 

They can drop 25% off. Obviously they are being funny with the pricing.
