GILERA runner VXR 200 workshop

Hey, i saw this gilera vxr with big air filter(i think)kinda look like a small exhaust on the left side of the bike...you guys have any idea whats that?

 

That's a bullet air filter.... certainly not something I wanna use as it takes up so much weight!

I need advice on whether for the clutch & bell i should stick to stock or aftermarket product like Malossi / Polini . And how much is it to get a new water pump replace ?

i just got meself an 07 VXR Runner.. i am wondering how much it is to change the steering cone bearing and the wheel bearings.. how bout servicing the carb, how much will that cost? What is the FC on the average?

Go evening all Gilera riders, I am not sure any1 of you face tis before bt my tachometer is not working properly. When i start the bike, the needle moves to the idling rpm den stays there. When i go faster, the needle moves to abt 5k rpm and also stops moving. Is there something i can check or muz i change a new dashboard? Thx in advance for any replies.

My Gilera 08 VXR 200 RPM meter is not working properly. The needle is not as sensitive as it should be. When throttled, the needle will be stuck between 3-6 RPM. When the bike stop (waiting for red light), the needle will drop to either 1.5 or 2. When move off, it will get stuck again. However, the rest like speedometer, fuel indicator are all working. Only the RPM meter seems to be not working as it should.
