DIY Hella Twin E.Horn with Relay

Hi bro i try the chart and install...when i connect the wire which is connected to the main batt...the horn automatic "horn"is it my relay is spoilt.??needs help pls thks

using one horn instead of two fixed the stationary problem. I did that because bikeshops dun like doing it

in the relay there is 2 "87" i use 1..1 can work the other cannot so i not sure is it relay spoilt

what do u mean? 1..1?

 

87 and 87A has to go to the + of the horn

 

30 is the 12v from the battery

 

06 is the swtich

 

15 or?? forgot already but it goes to ground "chassis of the bike".

 

At the horn side - will go to the chassis of the bike.

bro the 20A fuse can i connect it from the fuse box of my sp, or i need to buy another fuse separately?

btw the fuse box gt 20A in it, can i just connect it from there. need advise. your help is so much appreciated!!

 

last time i installed relay on my sp i use 15A

 

relay is a device that produce a sudden charge of power for a period of time when switch on.

 

i think 20A is too big already if short circuit scare later catch fire:P

 

you need to pick e fues depending on the power require for the horn.

 

too small = burn fuse

 

too big = burn ur bike

i forgot which pins work when the relay is powered on but, relay works like this.

:

 

when switch on either pin 87 or 87A will have power

when switch off either pin 87 or 87A will have a discharge.

 

for 1 horn you will tap from 87 or 87A so when swtich on ie pin 86 touch ground, relay will power on 87 and when off relay will discharge the rest of power to 87A correct my if wrong.

I have a hella relay, it cames along with my Hella Twin Tone, but I didn't use it as there's another relay with my previous horn. If you can make the trip to Sengkang, I'll give it to you. No point charging few dollars for something I don't use.

 

Hi bro, thanks .. i've done up on all wiring issues for my S4.. now sounds really like a BMW horn.. haha..

 

Just that recently i installed a Nissan Relay on to my X1-R, with two hella(S) + the original horn, in the end, used for 3mths, battery not powerful enough to support the relay, tooK off and change back to the normal relay..

Hi bros, any of you manage to fix both hella snail air horns on your kawa kr150? Cos im facing with an issue that one of the horns(low tone) just wont work(seems like can get enough juice from the battery). This is already been fixed up with the relay also cant make it work.. Any suggestions guys?
