I heard that new riders have to pay extra $250 for insurance

Is it true? that regardless of age you have to pay extra $250?

 

Just passed TP so dun wanna fork out the extra $$ if i can put the bike under my dad's name and me as the co-rider

it is no use.they will see whos insurance is more ex and take the price from there.below 21 extra 100 and new rider(all classes...1 yr from passing ur 2b,2a,2)extra 150...

Have not heard of this increment.

 

But all insurance are the same on the issue of authorised rider. It is immaterial who is the main rider & who is the authorised, they will follow the premium for the younger rider or the more expensive premium calculation.

 

Don't worry bro, as you keep both wheels grounded, your premium will go lower over time.

Don't they already charge P-platers a higher premium? So now on top of that they charge some more?
