Hey guys, jus like to know one thing. i left my bike at river valley thr for supper (with both my helmet and my pillion's helmet on my bike unlocked). so i left my bike thr and went inside a chicky rice shop. the bike was not visible to me. and when i was happily chewing my chicky rice, i saw these red blue blinker lights and all the cars/bikes parked thr have all moved away.. i'm the last to move my bike away.

 

Question 1: Anyone frequent river valley thr to eat? (boon tong kee, spize, 5 star chicky rice thr?) i heard that the police everyday come just to chase pple away and not summon. True?

 

Question 2: That place is a SINGLE YELLOW ZIG ZAG LINE. does this parking offense carry demerit points?

Zig zag means No Parking/stopping at all times.

I do not understand some people, got parking place, but prefer to park at illigal places. JUZ to save a misely few cents or waling distance. Not refering to this thread but as a general. In the end, no peace of mind. How to enjoy whatever you are doing like dat??

Chances are they'll mail to you the fine 2 weeks later. Anyway, no demerit points for parking at a single yellow zig-zag line (similar with double straight yellow lines) unless you parked at the double zig-zag lines.

The way i see it... u got 95% of being summon. Remaining 5% is becos of human error like they forgot to take ur number down...U can check in a few days time if ur bike is being summon.. Website here..

Its a offence called "Parking within a Demerit Points No Parking Zone"

S$120 and 3 demerit points. Dun believe can check it out here.
