how much is the OTR pricing? think can park in the house no need to pay season parking liao

5.6k -5.8k otr

if you have a cargo lift maybe you can park it inside your house:P

No need cargo lift, just need to pump more iron to lift the bike up the stairs. :D

After 1 year confirm muscle very big.

Lol..can you imagine some HUGE muscular 120kilo person riding a madass?

Firstly, I think the MA's top speed would come down some 10km/h, and secondly, that would look exactly like the classic circus clown act with the bear/gorilla riding around on a foldable bicycle.

Another thing..where do you guys go to purchase the Madass, and which motorshop would you frequent to get parts fixed, bike serviced, components mod-ed etc?

I'd like to say hi to all the riders here..I'm pretty new to this place, only started LEARNING to ride a bike last week so as you can tell, I am extremely green :bounce:

Hahahaha..I was hoping to stick around to learn more about the Madass cause from the way you guys have described it, it makes it seem as though the Madass is just so much fun to ride. And the attention that you'd get...it's all very amusing to me. :)

Anyway, feel free to poison me with what you think is great about your Asses, and as a new biker, whether this would be a nice start to riding. Also what pitfalls a new rider should look out for when obtaining the Madass.

Wanted a Varadero 125 initially but having heard about it's 12-14k cost, I figured it was wayyyyy out of my budget!

Btw, do any of your Asses sound like this? (This guy tuned up his MA and added dual u/s exhaust cans)

So have you got ur "asses" yet???

Where you got your box installed? Any special fabrication needed for the rack? or can just use one "off the shelf" rack? Thinking of just getting a small rack to cover over the exhaust portion then can strap down box/bags, etc.

Sorry for teh late reply..Busy with work....

All you need is the support for the box. I got a Givi universal rack. New one will cost u $100 plus... but you can hunt for a 2nd hand in the garage sales.. they usually comes together with the box. Alternately you can go down to bike shop to ask them give you a quote for new sets... LAB also can do it..

Thanks all; I will go down to Mah and other bike accessory shop to look at the rack/box... I too have been resisting very hard not to install a box! Thinking of installing a small rack just to cover the portion over the rear of the exhaust. With the current "naked" setup; it's even hard to use my old cargo net to strap stuff behind the seat

hi guys,

this might be asked before. anyone here bought his madass from that shop at Alexandra? is the shop reliable service? went ask ard last week, that uncle q ard 5.5 k.

1. Whoever comes are the right people

2. Whatever happens is the only thing that could have

3. Whenever it starts is the right time

4. When it's over, it's over

One thing I've been wanting to ask is, other than Mah, where is the madass sold and where would you experienced guys recommend sending it for servicing and modifying?

I'll be planning to get a bike come Jan 09..would be willing to purchase any 2nd asses out here cause I seem to be taking a liking for it.

Of course, with the box installed.. it will take away the "Killer" look for the asses. But I rather go for convienence rather than having to carry all my barang barangs around with me.

Anyway these racks & boxes can be removed anytime.. simple D.I.Y 30mins job to remove or install...(once you get the hang of it...) ke.ke..ke..

2nd hand asses....?? Market got? I tik the market is niche for 2nd asses... won't be much ppl selling.. will be for awhile prior ppl start selling...as it seems much to do with yr asses.. it's the time that ppl can't afford...

Yea, I wish it wouldn't seem like it's dead. But I guess most of the madass riders here are tired of answering the same type of questions that new riders like to ask-

Where can I get one?

How much is it OTR?

Insurance and Tax costs?

Where can I get it serviced?

Any 2nd hands available?

You get the picture hahaha. Anyway, I think this bike is a really fun bike. It's just a pity it's street/expressway presence is a leeeeettle small.

Hi,

I've been lurking on this madass thread for a while now so I thought I register an account and introduce myself.

By far this is the most informative MA thread I've come across with members who are into some serious modding. I'm from Perth, Aus and for some reason the MA isn't selling all that well here. OTR costs range from AU$3100 - 3300 which is slightly better than what you guys are paying after taking the exchange rates into consideration. I bought mine 2nd hand with 1200kays on the clock for AU$2500 which was an awesome price.

So far I've had this bike for 3 months now and absolutely LOVE the prices I'm paying for fuel ($8 gets me almost 200kays vs $50 for the cage). I plan to give the bike a bit of a boost in the performance department so I was hoping you guys could help out a fellow MA rider.

Regards.
