anyone change the engine mount before?mine seem to loosen overtime...when i thottle,it would go lefty....release throttle,back to normal....if yes where and how much?

 

IIRC you'll just have to ensure that the mounting bolts are not loose.

confirm and gurantee the bolt is tight coz when off the stand,i can move the engine sideways up down with my hands..i dont see the bolt moving...confirm the engine mount bush is out of order...where to get it change ah guys?i think i really need it change...the chain is scraping my chain rail on the engine slowly each day

Hi I just bought my madass like a week ago and i loved it.

But i wanted to make it look even nicer as some parts are rusty and i wanna see if there are any more parts that i need to repair.

Anyone know of any good mechanic for madass care to intro? Thanks in advance! Can contact me at 91083238. =)

Welcome to the club! I can say that SS motoring does pretty good repairjobs on my bike. Would recommend you to go there.

Oh SS motoring? I was there when i took over the bike. They basically have everything for madass? My footrest is pretty worn out. The electric starter thingy cracked. And basically I just wanna make it brand new so that i have even more motivation to take care of it well. Haha. Thanks for the advice. =)

i just changed my sprockets to 42T...when i thot that mine is 46T,BUT when uncle take out my old sprocket for the new one,i saw thats it 41T....oh my gosh what a disbelieve....now is there any big diff between 41T and 42T?and the engine moving is becoz of my mounting screw loose....save me the money...now i do not know whats the front sprocket size

ok,counted already,front is 17T behind 42T....hows the combination?ok or not?or shall i change back to my 41T rear?still looking for 39T rear ley....sam say try to get....left my steering cone bearing to repair....and catalyser to remove....

catalyser to remove is difficult. Must cut and weld the pipe to do a good job.

i've a curious question to you madassers...cause i'm considering to get one. what's the fastest you can go(top speed)? and how how's the acceleration/pick up? :cheeky:

 

Apparently i tried 105 before it starts to vibrate till i can feel it with my butt with stock madass (which is what i'm having now). I would say accerleration is normal. =p

bro i check my invoice from mah motor..the cone bearings is about 90bucks. plus labour.

This bike can go faster... If your butt can take the vibration.

 

Fun to ride and throw it around at low speeds but twitchy when going up speed beyond 90.

I have a question in mind...actually its 4liters then hit reserve or 5litres then hit reserve?

Coz just now i was at ecp just near the finger pier exit,my bike start to cough...then i glide into finger pier and turn on reserve,go to shell @opp keppel hill @60km/h(minimal throttle)...and i noticed i pumped 4 litres to full tank,that means i have 1 litre left for reserve?I just wanna make sure...i clock 140km for 4ltrs...becoz maybe rear 42T front 17T...and keep throttle happy trying the sprocket limits...
