No problem.

On Sat morning, Raptor's coil also got burnt at GP Esso. Lucky it didn't happen in KL.

On the way back from KL today, saw a Repsol Blade with red head lights. Is it anyone from this forum?

Also met Kata Killer at Pagoh. :giddy: Tailgating cars and overtaking on road shoulder. You're dangerous dude. :bouncefire:

Have to agree with you Tashi, this coil problem has been going on for a bit to long for it to be ignored by Honda and Boon Siew.

Please put more Coils in the Coil Honda,Thanks.

Anyway would have been nice to have met up at sepang, saturday was great but today sucked only managed to get in 8 laps before it rained, wash out.

There's always a next time.

Apparently when I had my bike checked, the charging of batt starts at idle, not at 3000rpm as what Zee from BT21 said.

Also it cuts off at some point to prevent overcharging of battery.

I think I know why you were in such a hurry. You must be rushing back for KFC.

KK, better dun overtake at road shoulder. Not safe. Last time 2 Busas did it, there was a car stopping at the road shoulder.

Lucky the doors of the car was closed, and there was no kid peeing at the road side. Usually the doors would be open, and people would be standing next to the car.

One bike went between the railing and the car on the left side, and the other between the car and a bus on the right at 170kph. :giddy:

Michael, it's from 1 of the link from Chilly at previous page.

LD, it's just a thought that flashed through.

Tashi, Bohdi guai anot?

This flapper mod is around since our bike came out, just that they are split feedback from the people who had done the mod that creeps me out.

But since the link Chilly posted shown positive evidences and it is a mod that can be done quite ''easily'' then is thinking of doing it.

As quite a few have asked before is it normal for the bike to have ''knock'' effect when moving slowly.

My reply is to clutch in a bit more.

I have a hunch(6th sense, no technical support)) that the knock effect is resulting from lack of air.

So it seems that the flapper mod might be able to solve this problem as it increase air flow during low rpm and much smoother graph and feel.

The link also stated about the block off plate which is the disconnecting of " the dun noe what valve? you know what i mean can liao".

The plate even got brand and weight saving marketing sia.

But i think the brand of mine should be call ''No Brand", from No Where.

I felt a significant difference when i did the block off plate and the link stated that the block off plate's gain is little as compared to the flapper mod.

Wonder how will i feel if i did the flapper mod.

Am considering selling off my street legal micron slip on for $650 (Retail: $1050, used less than 2 months) to get full system.

Dynoed recently at Unity with 154.65 hp with the pipe.

Dynoed without the pipe around 1 year ago at Loois with 159hp.

Statistic shows that the difference between this 2 places is 10 - 13hp.

So if mine now dynoed at loois should be getting at least 165hp.

The only difference power increment thingy i did between this 2 runs is the pipe.

So tentatively the power increment for this pipe should be at least 6hp if measured by loois ratio.

End can is stainless steel, down pipe is titanium.

Interested can contact me at 97649600.

With Uncle Tashi around, sure guai. Everyone was laughing at him after he got blown by Arrow pipe, he wanted to cry. What a bad uncle I am.

Before you do any more mods, can I try your bike this Sat? I want to feel how it is like after you do the injector balancing.

Strange, I am still finding carbon deposits in my pipe. It is not running as lean as I thought.

Flapper mod..... it's quite easy.... but, it doesn't eliminate the knock that Ken mentioned... this so call flapper at the intake opens upon 4krpm.

therotically, if the flapper is remove, more air which leads to more fuel and more consumption, but from wat i experience, it doesn't affect much... not much difference... it's all in te mind....

Tashi: i found liquid black substance spurtting out of the exhuast after ard 1500km mark... did u install PC3? could it be due to the block-of plates that diverted all the carbon right out of the exhuast??? guess gotta put it to dyno to lean it down liao....

Actually I don’t it’s necessary to do any of the mods like block off plate, flapper …

Bikes these days are getting more and more sophisticated. Unless it’s got all those powercut mods like the J-model, then it makes sense to remove them. Once you screw up this bike, that’s it.

Before I got the pipe, I was told changing the pipe usually will cause the bike to run lean. This would lead to a temperature increase. On the R1, the results weren’t pretty from what I can vaguely recall. If my bike is running a little rich, it should be fine. There’s no temperature increase for my bike, maybe the ECU compensated? I don’t have a PC3. Are you using a stock pipe?

Not sure why there’s black liquid spurting out of the exhaust. I can only think of one thing after watching that movie of you teaching Ken how to screw Tweety’s bike.

You probably screwed your Blade and made it cum. Bwahahahahahahaha. I wish I had a video of that.

Maybe you didn’t run in properly, the engine oil went pass the pistons rings and out the exhaust? Use a cotton bud and swipe some of the black stuffs off your ahem and have it DNA-ed.

He’s probably an Indian Muslim guy!

He left before I finished fuelling up. I wanted to go over and say hi and if he wanted to ride together. I passed him around Ayer Keroh I think.

What bike were you riding? I was at Pagoh, parked in front of the corn stall. Only saw KK and Shoei ... I think.
