Heard MT has some HRC software that can tune our bikes. No need PC3. Anyone tried it already?

I'm going down this weekend already.

However, today till Wednesday is a good time to go. Suzuki, Kawasaki & Yamaha are testing their new 06 MotoGP bikes in Sepang. :thumb:

Thise who bought a PC3 must be regretting now. I've always thought it possible, otherwise how else would they put a map in the ECU the very 1st time?

Heard about this when sending my bike for 1st servicing at BS didnt beleive the sales guy at first cos he said they had to do it after office hours backdoor kinda work and pay them some kopi money. Seek advice from other bike shops but they say BS got no dyno machine so cannot test it. So I decided to forget the idea. Hmm I guess I was wrong.

Tashi : Any idea how much would the mapping and dyno run cost?

I dunno. MT has the software to do it. Should pay him a visit. Heard the Blade is very smooth. If anyone finds out before me, share ok?

Also talk to the sales guy at BS and check how much before approaching MT. So you'll have a ballpark figure.

Maybe they'll ask you to leave the bike there, then secretly transport to Looi's. After tuning, ride back to BS.

Eldo, who is this guy in BS? Can you PM me the name of this guy, if not a description of him.

The 2006 Blades will be in very soon. Unfortunately when it arrives, everyone is on holiday. Not sure how soon the homologation can be done during this festive season.

But if you're reading this now, all Blades have been snapped up.

I am expecting some very exciting pix to be posted after the CNY weekend.

No, I didn't have time to go down and check.

I haven't really given my Blade a good whacking lately, cos my chain was almost gone. Was trying to stretch a few more km on it. It lasted me 46,000km.

I had my front spocket ($30) and chain ($120) changed today. Why didn't I change them sooner. Felt alive being able to whack it hard. The chain is a gold DID X-ring. A nice new clean gold chain looks very very good indeed.

These days, I dream of only a black 06 Blade with gold chain, gold ohlins forks, gold brembos, gold radiator mesh, gold discs, and gold Marchesinis. There should be a modern Bond movie called "The Man with the Golden Blade".

Unfortunately that man cannot be me.

Good choice of chain :thumb: Used to think RK was the best but found that DID was better when I got my 919 blade and my vtec. X Ring is even better changed it at MAH Pte on my Vtec. Superb performance less tightening of the chain.

Which reminds me my chain hasn't been adjusted since I got my bike. It seems not necesscary cos it's not loose yet

did you go down on the front?

No. I kept to the original 16T. Wouldn't the down size cause a speedo error?

Eldo, my 1st adjustment on the OEM RK chain was at 18,000km.

Beagle, remember to lube your chain. I think you should remove it, and soak it in hot oil.

He hasn't lube his chain since he bought the bike. His Repsol is at 1,500 km now. It looked dry as ice and was fluctuating while riding. Looked like it might snap.

After changing the front spocket, shifting is quieter and smoother. The old front sprocket didn't look worn. However, the way to judge whether a front sprocket is worn differs from that of the rear.

Gong hei fatt choi dear viewers. :cheer:

A good solution to increase boot space.

Is it a local bike ? Really spoiled the looks of sportbikes
