Would actually love to join you guys but... am trying to save the mileage on the CBR. Its at 55,000 km and it is not even 17 months old.

As for riding the DRZ and following you guys...........I don't think so.

Have an enjoyable safe trip guys! :thumb:

your monitor lizard reminds me of my first bike in sg, a black scram, back then i've not heard the word "motard".

Sure would be nice if you change ur mind later... enjoy the holiday, dude

Its my first time with a fuel injected machine and i've been wondering, what would happen if a bike ran dry?

Will it be as easy as putting petrol in then of you go? as in bikes with normal carbs.

or air bubles gets into the system then you'll have to perform a shaman's ritual to get it going again?

anyone?

Well,

What I know is that is it not good if a bike ran dry, especially on a Fuel_Injected (FI) Machine.

But I dont seemed to recall why so.

Perhaps someone here could enlightened us.

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that!"

Rommel, after the bike runs dry, and you've topped up with petrol, the bubbles should be gone. I've ran dry before twice. No probs.[/b]

OK then... thats good

Sorry I had to leave early after we arrived back. Had a terrible headache from the heat. I went home, showered, watched another episode of Korean drama and went to sleep at 9.

I thought Ismail's Blade sounded strange when I heard him starting his bike at one of the stops.

I didn't think too much of it cause my brain was malfunctioning due to the heat.

But now, I can confirm his coil is a gonner.

Nice to meet you too Rommel and the others too esp Tashi,

Now I have an idea who is behind their nicks

The trip reminds me of my recent Thai trip

Except that it was much more tiring and hotter

Thanks to chilly the chief organiser for this trip:thumb:

Not to forget all those invloved

Sorry guys dindn't manage to say gdbye to all I had to rush home got to work at 10

Got a pounding headache from the heat and not enough rest

Had a nice chat with abang Ismail

He says I should try Gelang Patah's satay

How about it Tashi?

Organise another outing?

I thought too Ismail's bike had some coil issues

Cos that is what happened to me in Phuket due to the slow ride and the bike got heated several times too much

That's how my coil got burnt

Now my voltage had a slight dip to lows

Perhaps should off the engine when ildle at traffic lights like what Tashi did

Maybe that theory might help

Anyway hope this is the begining of more trips to come

Eldo, nice meeting you as well. Every Sat evening, around 8pm to 8:30pm, we'll go to JB for makan. I'll text you next time.

I have never eaten satay or maggi mee goreng that is better than this particular shop so far. The meat is spiced very generously, even without the sauce, it's fantastic. :hungry:

I think you misunderstood, the reason why I off my engine is to prevent the engine from generating more heat. :cheeky:

The trip was guided by a very experienced tour guide but on that particular day,

we toured the whole Melaka
