Woopa!! Cbr1000rr Riders

Anyone knows of any brand/s of rearsets that can use reverse shift and retain the rear brake light function?

 

I know HKL sells Vortex Rearsets that can do just the above 2 functions but I'm not sure if HKL includes the wire for the rear brake lights....cos it's sold seperately by Vortex.

 

Any ideas....Tashi?

 

I noticed not many people responds to this thread...not like the other bike communities...

Is this like a private group thread ? Or Is there another one for Firebladers ? or just not many of the riders go on SBF. ... curious

All RR8 Blader please take note that Boon Siew will soon have a recall on the clutch cable.

Me frantically looking for a room with attached bath to rent, have to move by 1st March, very busy.

 

Most likely after I move, then will have time to join you guys.

Dont you notice when you release the clutch, the clutch doesn't release fully. At first i oso never notice til my mech told me...then i refer to Boon Siew lor. They told me to wait first til recall is confirm...they already notice RR8 got this problem.

It was posted in http://www.1000rr.net. Anyway it for the USA recall. Beside they might have a different set of serial number as ours as they are using the USA model while we are the Europe model.

 

I do not know if it the same issue. Just posting to let you know that there is already a recall in USA. Now I'm also in the fix, do not know if Boon Siew will recall my bike as I have changed the fairing and disabled the 2 valves. If really so, got to use connection liao.

i think the best is temporary put back the original faring lor...den also connect back the exhaust part that you did. hehehe...call LancerEVO to help you lor. No choice...scare they will void your warranty on modify.
