hey guys i nid answer. help me pls. last march i pass my class 2. july i got 6points and nov i got another 6. now im left with 1 point. so wen will i get points back? i dont really understand bout this.

 

As Dino mentioned, you only left with 0 pts. Right now you are under the probation phase. Everytime you upgrade your license, you will enter this phase. So technically you only have 12 pts for the next 1 yr from March '09.

 

Since you are under probation, you can deduct until 0 pts. If you are under normal 24pts, when you hit 0 pts, you will be suspended. So count yourselves lucky for having the last chance.

 

Since you got demerit points within your probation, you will have to start over another yr of probation from your last demerit points. Meaning you will be stuck with 0 pts till next Nov '10. Then you will be given another 12 pts again. Then you have to maintain another yr of NO demerit points before you will get back full 24pts. Then you are OUT of probation.

 

2 x 6 pts? Speeding rite? Take care bro. I know, I also kanna 8 pts when I just got my cl2. And almost got another 4 pts. Lucky the TP let me off.

ya just bought it, haha and w/o pc. what do i tell the bike shop and which bike shop is recommanded for that? do i just say tunning? cos i ask a bike shop they quote me 40 for tunning is that a reasonable price? and for 08 is "puig" a good brand for fender eliminator? or there''s better brand?

 

I have tried to do throttle body sync for 08 cbr 1000 but apperantely there isn't any info on it. It is also not stated inside the service manual. Somehow I think it all ECU controlled. It seems to be under IACV (Idle Air Control Valve) which itself is a sensor.

 

For tuning, you can only use PC3/5 to do it.

Don't be confused. Sync throttle body and tuning is 2 different thing. By right you do not need to sync the throttle body. When we talk abt sync throttle body, it is actually making sure all the 4 butterfly valves inside the 4 throttle bodies are SYNC. By changing the exhaust, it will not affect it at all.

 

Normally after riding the bike for a long time, then you will need to do the throttle body sync.

now like out of sync lidat..

sync the injectors/throttle bodies??

tink need to tighten timing chain also..

Ppl intending to get a 1000cc.. can u guys share with me the diff between cbr1000rr and gsxr1000(09 model)....

You can't tune without PC. You will have to install PC inorder to do that. Try HKL or Racewerks.

 

If it is just slip on, you can make do without the tuning. However better don't remove the silencer as it will make the engine run more lean. Anyway we don't know the air fuel ration just by riding. It all a guessing game. If you feel unsure and have extra moolah to spare, I will suggest you go buy a PC3/5 and go for dyno tuning.

One is Honda and the other is a Suzuki

 

Anyway never rode K9 suzuki before, cannot compare. But suzuki is renowed for their top end power however from the look, it looks bulky. But tried the K5 before. I would say the top end power is faster than the new CBR. The new CBR has a very good mid range. And it is built to be like a 600 which is very good for track. And is cheaper.

Kinwei, correct mi if I am wrong.....

 

PC 3 basically allows u to tune your bike by adjusting the fuel input so that you can get the best AFR to maximise your bike's performance..... It overwrites the ECU by using the mapping that is in the tuned / set / stored in the PC 3......

 

Removing the PC 3 does not makes yr bike unsychonized or affect the throttle bodies or even the injectors..... It basically just reverts you back to the stock mapping of the ECU...... hence watever set up / accessories u have will be based on the stock mapping which probably might not give u the best ARF u can get........

changing yr exhaust will make bike leaner... so will changing yr air filter to an aftermarket one.... But I dun think u shd worry so much.... Manufacturers generally set the stock ECU to be richer as being richer will not damage yr engine... bt being on lean permanently will damage yr engine..... so yr engine is already richer than u think..... If u really worry and want the best ARF, then u have to invest in PC and send for dyno......

No lah kuku..... I said previous bike leh...... the suzy....... so does it mean i never kena cheated??
