I am not changing to synthetic till about 4,000km. Giving it sufficient time to run in fully.

 

Usually I'll buy a carton of Maxima Ultra cos it's cheaper, any Bladers who wants can just drop by my place to pick it up. Then bring them to BS for oil change.

 

Stock plugs are iridium if I remember correctly.

Actually no, I realize they don;t give the 3 free servicing anymore like they used to, 1st time my bill also $100 plus. Because I flush out the mineral oil frequently, I told them not to do that service, that one I agree is a rip off.

 

Check the honk, signals, high beam ... $40 plus just for that. No thank you.

Hi guys, I juz bought a 2nd hand CBR 1000 RR5 model, shop only got 1 key to spare me. U got any recommendations where can I go to do the duplicate key, understand need to do programming too?

 

sorry la guys, i'm still searching the website where to do the key but can't find it. i juz sold my car and have not been riding for 5 years, totally lost touch with the motor world. but still i gt my dream bike.

It takes a couple of hours, as they need to get your key and duplicate one.

Then program it with your bike. I am riding 09 cbr1k, so I am assuming your key is the same.

You may want to call them and enquire about the charges.

 

Alternative, you get the keys from Chong Aik and then duplicate it yourself at any key makers.

Then visit loois or unique motor to program it. I think it would save $10?

Okie bro, thanks for the info. i just leave my bike somewhere there and walk around the bike accessories shops there for 2 hours pass time. i just dun feel secure wit 1 key, better to have a spare, $75 spent nw cn save me from a future nightmare.

I went to their kaki bukit shop, and can rest inside their air conditioned accessories room plus watch tv too.

There is 2 places to hide the bottle. One in the compartment while the other at top of front spocket where there us empty place.
