Hi,

Intend to buy my first bike, heard that buying bike require a gurantor? Does the gurantor have to be present on spot when buying? OR we can obtain gurantor signature at a later time?

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

Buy in cash no need guarantor.

Buying under a loan, need a guarantor for the financing company. I think guarantor can attend at financing company or bike shop at different time.

I went to the bike shop yesterday where I do my oil change, and just asked if want to get a bike, and want to pay by installment. What is the procedure? He said:

- Bring IC,

- At least $1000 cash

- 1 Guarantor (Bring IC also)

Then I asked, why must bring so much? He said must pay $300+ to the finance side. Then the rest put as a downpayment.

It's quite confusing, because if want installment = pay $$ to finance side........and.......if dnt want installment, pay full = no nid pay $$ to finance side.

Is there a shop that does not need to pay the finance side, just me + my guarantor pay and go?

I think it's a noob question, haha...because I've never paid by installment before.

Wah? i dun even know there's a need to pay a sum to the finance side.. usually what i know when i bought a bike in installment, downpayment is a must uh.. gurantor also unless ur downpayment sum is high. At least $1k for downpayment?? maybe depends on bike shops also. the time i bought a 2nd hand bike. i downpayment $600 only. Correct me if i'm wrong guys~
