Collectd the bike. Collant leaked seems like faulty thermostat shop changed it immediately.

Rode it half across sg really nice to ride plenty of useful torque but bad top end. Still sounds sad :(

I've been using those hard saddlebags for abt a year now. Not 100% waterproof but at least 90%. You can get them at Daredreamers at Changi Rd or Aunty shop at Ubi. Cost abt $150 ~ $180 depending on size. Check it out....Btw, no space constrain on pillion rider.

Dun buy those soft types as the shape will distort easily.

should be easy. just need some time only.

Of course I trust my skills. I ride alone cos I don't trust the competency of the driver next to me.

relocation is easy , is jus there needs to be ample space on bars due to break reservoir etc

Can never trust bike shop man. Said they service the bike. My trusted mech showed me spoilt plugs. Worst still 2 diff plugs some more engine oil in bad shape air filter blacker than me haha. Worst part they still argue wif me the chain is ok when its clearly in bad state. The shop is @tan for info purposes. There is also a small crack at the base of the engine that has been sealed back.Hopefully no issues. I guess it shouldnt be giving problem as its still pulling strong and is very planted. Pipes are a lil louder now hehe but not decated :)

Yeah bound to happen la been out of the riding game for so long. Than have a bad habit of impulse buying lol which is y i have amassed 15 veh in 10 yrs lol. The sales man name is LIM Si@ng !nn. V disappointed wif them but at least when ppl see the bike it looks good la :). I will def recommend the shop to my enemies hahaha....

Buying used bike is all about luck. I also encountered bad experience before, so for my last purchase, which is this White Honda Shadow, I specially look into the bike condition, try to get as new as possible even if the price is slightly higher. And also i am quite lucky to find this bike as its quite rare to find another new version of shadow nowadays. I will definitely keep it for life even if i change to Harley next time.

Hv been looking for a used shadow for a fren too....seems like ppl are selling $5.5k up nowadays and cond so-so only!Wonder my ride can fetch $7k

when those cond are nowhere near mine! haha!!!

 

Btw, I saw a few shadows at a shop in Yishun Ind Pk A recently, cond as usual not so nice n price abt $4k up. Check it out if you're keen.

But seriously, not easy to find good conditioned Shadow nowadays. I suggest you look from forum bike mart and slash the price if the bike condition doesn't look convincing. Becuz you will need to spend more money at the later stage by replacing this and that.

 

Nowadays bike shop's prices are very high. Not worth it.
