Next sat miracle service, will feature a testimony of a bro-in-christ whose marriage was on the rocks. Before the worse happen, his elder brother direct the unhappy couple to a miracle service. There the word and peace of God touched them deeply and healing took place. Their marriage is saved.

 

maybe after Gillman Fellowship.. we can go redname ministry, then miracle service... will we be overly blessed?

speaking about miracle rally, i wasn't there at my lighthouse church 's last nite miracle rally due to something. But my wife told me she saw a TV actor, dunno wats his name, hubby of chen li ping, he went up along with a group of healed ppl, testified that his back injury of many many years was healed in one of the recent miracle rally session.

 

Praise God for His healing power, cause a testimony from a TV star will probably be more impactful than a commoner's testimony like us.

Here's a few tips i learned from my church about miracle healing. It might not be complete. :-

1. Start off with worship & praising Him & thanks giving. Affirm His power & authority over us & the Universe.
   
2. Humble ourselves in His presence, best is to kneel & pray & praise Him in a heart full of humility.
   
3. Ask for forgiveness of sins & hidden sins, which stopped us from coming close to Him. Repent of all sins (hatred, lust, envy etc) & have a contrite heart in His Holy presence. Our body is a temple & His Holy Spirit cannot dwell in it , if our temple is full of sinful desires.
   
4. Have faith & believe He can & will heal. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you faith & help you to believe that He will & can heal. see Mark 9:24
   
5. Quote His promises of healing by what He promised in Mark 16:15-18. When God promised something by giving His word, he never retract it. His Words endures forever. When God first created the universe, He just have to spoke the words & it is done. Now, His promise of healing is also His spoken words. Do we not believe in the same God who created the Universe & humans truly loves us & want to heal us? If we do not believe, we are denying His power & love for us.

its very dangerous to view and put our God in a box like that. it's almost as gd as telling God to heal the person cause we've did all these.

 

if we stick to rituals, then aren't we as gd as those pple who goes to temples?

or we could also go for durian hunt in spore after gillman fellowship. I know of many secret locations of wild durian trees & abandoned durian farms in spore.

Nearest one in Rifle Range road & also a few near mandai road.

 

This sort of activities might attract pre-believers to join us.

no lah, what i meant is those are the minimum requirement, meeting the requirements is the first step otherwise can forget about the rest.

 

But healing is not by our rituals or actions, it is by God's power & mercy & in Jesus' name that we can heal or be healed.

 

But sometimes healings dun occur instantly lest we lose hope. Sometimes it do occur instantly & sometimes it is progressive over weeks or months - I hv seen that many times in the rally.

 

But it is exactly what is stated in Marks 16:15-18, all are asked to preach the good news to the world & be baptized and be empowered to speak in tongue, drive out demons & heal the sick.

 

btw, my work colleague who is in Lighthouse church is one of the "healers" told me he have to pray for many hours just before attending the miracle rally to lay hands on the sick during the rally. Alot of prayers effort had to be put into each miracle rally. Its not as easy as it seems, but it is awesome to see God's power performing those miracles close up in front of him.

there's no minimum requirement for God to work His power. He doesn't needs us to do this 1st or do that 1st.

 

the verses you've quoted is actually saying tht we as Christians have the power to do all this, enabled by God . the moment we become Christians and have the Holy Spirit in us, we already are able to heal the sick, drive our demons etc...

 

if you are saying tht b4 we can exercise our gifts in healing we must go thru the list you've mentioned like worshipping, kneeling and even like ur colleague who prays for hours b4 it lays hands, then isn't tht as gd as saying tht we must perform some activities to let God see then He'll do the healing?

i dun disagree with what u say about Peter not having to kneel when he asked the cripple to get up & walk. Actually its the heart that matter. God looks at our heart & if kneeling helps to put our heart in a state of humility & submission, then its better to kneel.

 

Actually i was making very general shorten statements about miracles healing & i can't elaborate into great details nor wish to qualify all my statements; coz it will be too long winded.

 

My intent was to make miracle healing a closer option to all believers. Yr good intention i think is to pre-warn against wrongful expectations, which could leads to dissappointment, correct me if i am wrong.

so i ride on at abt 30km/hr.... GOD is good.. 3 minutes ride n i reach a hotel...KINGS hotel... stayed d nite..next mornin check d bike again...stil no good...had to ride to Jonker street n look for Ah Hwa... he said 3 days to fix..

n GOD is good... he willingly lent me his Suzuki 80cc Kup..

 

so ther i was in Fullface, Joe Rocket armor jacket...gloves...n riding a Kup..

funie thing was as my gloves wer stil wet from Sat trail.. i oni got right side red color old glove..missing left... but before we setoff ..ther it is GOD given gloves set at rubbish dump downstairs... its from d best EPL goalkeeper. Petr Chech... so i was riding wif right side riding glove,,,left hand Goal keeper glove..its great...my left hand no vibration felt at all...

 

den i decided to make it to Port dickson n retrace d route we taken ...but on a Kup..goodness///its over 90km distance ..n d loan bike was like faulty speedo...brakes not good...n halfway d engine stalled...GOD is good...1km away ther is a bike shop .. so after pushin for mere 1km..d shop repair for mi..FOC...cos he said its jus d electrical spark bit weak, n he adjust d spark plug...

so GOD played match making today... cos many years back when we wer dating..i used to ride a Honda C80.... so today we sort of relive d old days...riding tis Kup n hv nice countryside view..hard to miss cos i guess i must b speedin at abt 40km/hr..

 

den we head back to town n shop.. GOD'smiracles... shop called ard 9pm dat d bike is readi.. jus before we found a hotel to stay d nite today....

so it was found dat d bike spark plug thread worn ..thus burst n out flew d plug...d engine had to b carry down n retread..all done within a days work..

 

now my engine dun hv tick tick sound ..which prev i tot was due to valve clearance prob...

 

before i return d Kup ..GOD even gave mi d opportunity to go d backlane n have d grilled squid which i wanted ..its jus behind Renaissance hotel....

 

n i jus reach home at 2am.. haha:) ,,,,once we reach CCK..d drizzles starts,,,
