my guess is , soon China wil build a good quality dual sports bike in months to come..

I drool classic bikes, especially renovated ones. Someone has spent many hours and sweat restoring it to its pride and beauty, so that deserves some recognition.

 

The new bikes you drool are all created on the computer, ane by robots and have no heart and soul. The instruments of Lucifer, but I cannot find a suitable passage in the bible, except in Genisis

Ah but d greed of men.... for someone who earns 30 - 40 million a year, yet he wld stil make a false claim for small amount as $1000.... dats y i say, never trust men .....

 

imagine...why bother to spend 5 mins of his time filing a $1000 or $2000 claim ??

My friend in UK restores bikes for a hobby. He usually buys them as bits in a box , then restores them back to their former glory. The process takes a few years.

 

As for spares, there many workshops in UK and Germany that can machine parts, at not such a big cost and there are many breaker-yards that may have the larger bike components.

Rebuild classic motorbikes … I have thought about it … however, spare will be an issue and super expensive.

 

Hence, I choose the latest model of a classic bike … cb750 rc42

The model that caught my eyes in my younger days is cb750f … 1980 model.

In my younger days … I rode a Suzuki GS750 which is rare these days.

 

So the retro bikes I keep nowsdays are BMX … which I already spent more than 10k :angel:

hmmm ppl wld aim for restoring PGM i suppose..relive the Amdy Lau movie..

 

or the Ninja 900 ? Top GUN bike...

 

 

problem wif restoration is..d breaker yards in europe/us wil cost a bomb to ship d parts here..

 

think i nid to work part time as bell boy in the Regis ... to support tis kind of hobby

Can your XRV make it around thw world, my Doctor has just advise me that I need to take a break, something like a round the world trip on a bike would do me wonders.
