nope. FOUND A INFORMATION FOR MITO riders for their beloved mito parts. Very soon, it will no longer be VERY DAMN HARD TO GET PARTS. only question be when will it happen in this upcoming months.

attention mito riders~~ for those who din know regard about fuel tank to keep into tip top internally. :

 

if the tank has always had raw fuel in it and its empty restored at dry warm room it should not make more than surface "corrosion" that is clean able/removable by mentioned rust cleaning products for mc tanks.

 

if it has any water left inside it or/and then restored into cold room it gets water inside it "all over" thanks to room temperature changes if temp goes up and down from ~-5Celsius up to +20Celsius.

 

simple thing to try avoid tank from rusting is to use 2Stroke oil mixture at tank like 0,5%~1%. if oil is gd quality like castrol TTS or R2 it doesnt even block the engine by carbon deposit. i know it as i personally use ~2mm tuned 2T oil pump and 0,5~1% mixture always at my cagiva petrol tank(s).

 

And to clean the tank annually once from dirt and water, that might have come from petrol station pump/tank.

hi bro's im considering to get a mito this month i've got 2 friends riding mito and it seems very problematic...alot of electric problems etc, even find one replacement sit kanna chop $$

 

i was thinking of getting the 2005 mito from someone in this forum, please

give me advice..

somemore i don't know much about bikes..i just got my license a month or 2 ago...so if bike break down frequently i sure jialat..but i really love mito for class 2B...

 

i'm just worried if i really get a mito, i cannot tahan the problems..

come on...bikes gib problems only to people whom budget and dont service their bikes.. if u r sure u goona take good care and able to afford all maintanance, ur bike will be healthy

mito is ain't a problematic bike n does not have electrical problem unless the previous owner has not taken care of the bike well. for it is also advice to change eo & spark pluge best at every 1000km n ensure do a proper run in if you have over haul the bike. ONe thing, DUN TRY RIDING MITO on a HEAVY RAIN or u will see high chance ur bike in a bike shop. haha... that's the truth.

elmoakajeremy, pls note that a mito is not meant for a person who has very tight budget n looking for only cheap parts. YOU CANNOT COMPARE MITO parts price to KIPS OR SP. Cos you are also paying for quality and the make up material is very different.

oh ic... go bring to track lor.. fun to play. there are few mitos tat goes to track. but mostly go on weekdays. if it 10mins walk from ngee ann to ur home n ur using for that purpose. IT def is VERY under use. U can't ride mito on low rev for too long or you will end up being sorry. cos the valve will easily get jam. mito valve ain't tat cheap either.
