Hmmm the facts, mito ev is a 90s sportbike with 80s technology. Rs changed the looks for a number of times and with better technology.

In terms of looks the RS is better now. 525's headlamp spoil the looks. What kind of problems you faced during your aprilia ride? Why not consider bigger cc bikes? 1st hand 525 is so ex but only a 125.

If only they launch the mito 500. Like the ducati supermono. Light and powerful.

On my 1st day of ride on my previous aprilia bought from MAH motors(1st hand FZ****E), engine stalled a number of times along my way back home from that shop, after that 2weeks later, the bike cannot start then went to Eddy Ong motors then changed a few things like battery, spark plug and i'm facing problems riding above 120km/h after run-in... Just felt super disappointed with MAH motors, after they sell off the bike, they'll tell you all problems with the bike is YOUR fault and none of their fault... Even if i'll get aprilia again, i'll NEVER get from MAH again... That's why now in my mind is either i get Mito SP525 or Yamaha R125, i had lost all confidence in MAH, big shop but craps a lot... In terms of look, i felt that Yamaha R125 looks better but however 4stroke engine...

4 stroke engine = more environmental friendly, lesser maintenance, more torque. R125 is higher and bigger. i almost mistaken it as r6 when it park behind a r6. There's a youtube video comparing R125 and 525 but not in english so i dun really know what they're talking. And also another video comparing new rs125, cbr 125 and R125. And you'll be amazed which's the winner.

Most probably the bike been there for quite sometime that cause the battery problem. My friend's new RS125 2t pump failed and jammed the piston but mah changed everything back for him because he brought his lawyer friend along with him. That's what he told me but i wasn't there.

So far i haven't encounter any problems and i seldom whack the bike. It's only the jetting that has been giving me problems. I've only changed clutch plates, clutch cable, swing arm bushing and fork bearing. So far have no problems with the engine.

Let's chat about bikes. So long never really chat here. Viewers please join. Start with tyres?

R125 looks can kill but in terms of power still don't know yet.. But do you buy bikes from MAH motors be4? I heard that a 4stroke engine cannot outrun a 2stroke(i mean in terms of 125cc classes) Can clear my doubt whether what i've heard is correct or otherwise?

Ya if both are same cc the 2stroke has more bhp and lighter. The 4 stroke engine is heavier but has more torque plus smoother respond. Anyway the 2 strokes is about to phase out.

No i have not bought anything from mah but only heard ppl's experience with them. I just change my rear tyre to a 2nd BT090 cuz the previous one ran over a nail and couldn't be mend. No choice but lucky the tyre still look new with wax on the side. I tested Dunlop GPR100 on the road, the grip is slightly better than the GPR70 during wet condition. Overall still okay.

How about exhaust? Mine is arrow but i heard tyga performance is better. There's someone using it in here right? Would like to find out more.

Ok, thanks... btw, you say 2stroke gonna phase out soon means that they gonna launch more 4stroke bikes?

hi everyone, my mito fall off the jack when washing. Mirror break off, Part of the main frame at the front supporting the windscreen broken and the rear seat ferring crack badly. Side ferring is not damaged at all. Anyone had any idea where to repair my bike? and the approx. cost of repair. Thanks alot for ya help

Rides:

Cagiva Mito (FS 7**8R)

Super 4 Spec III (FZ 3**3R)

BMW F800GS Trophy 2012 (FBH 3**6D)

Certainly.. the electronic carb is used to pass the euro standard and also affects the performance. You can try searching youtube to get your info. Mito ev 190km/h on meter. Stock 525 140km/h+ on meter.

witchblade, 33bhp is at crank.. How's your project progress? Cagiva only able to mod till 37-39bhp.

not interested to tell you.:)

Aim is Tame mito 500cc 2 stroke! What seems impossible is always possible (((o(*゚▽゚*)o)))

You can try First Motor for mending your fairing and a 2nd hand head fairing frame will be do. Repair fee for the fairing depends on how badly the damage is.

Yes there are very few brands that still producing 2 stroke bikes. Only left 2nd hand 2 strokers around. U didn't realise?

I've realised but however aprilia and cagiva are the only brands standing still producing new 2stroke bikes in singapore... Heard that aprilia gonna bring in a new stock of aprilia RS125 for 2009 designs by end of Feb but however no one got any info on that yet...(I got this piece of info from MAH motors sales-man, but how true it is, still dunno yet, as you know that i don't TRUST them anymore after my previous incident with them)

Price between Aprilia and Mito is around 2-3k difference... I mean 1st hand.... Mito, SP525 is slightly more expensive than Aprilia RS125.. Which is better, you got to check with the rest of the Mitos here already.... I believe everyone have a different point on bikes... For me, i go for looks and speed of bike... Cheerss.... But anyway both are italian bikes... If you like that bike design a lot(irregardless RS125 or SP525), find out more details first... Check your $$ also, no point getting a super nicely done up and expensive bike but end up facing $$ problems... Just a piece of advice, don't mind...

Could the production stopped? How much is one ticket for the show? From the RSV4 spec it looks like it can take on the 1098. But max biaggi says the handling of SBK RSV4 need to be improve in order to keep up the front.
