Same here too , i never got around believing that shell and caltex has good range of 2t . Their 2t are just average if i'm being nice . The Castrol 747 has long left our shores , that was one hell of a 2t . Motul and Maxima seems good to me , but i've always been a fan of Motul 600 , now Motul 710 . I can't find that much choice of 2t around these days , i've been trying hard to find Maxima 2t but to no avail .... Anyone tried Royal Purple , Elf or Unil Opal ?? i never seen their 2t lately ...

u can give Liqui Moly a try , their 2T is good also. Only thing is most shops dun carry i think

I have tried these range of 2Ts so far..

Esso gold, esso low smoke, castrol racing 2t, maxima castor 927, mobil 1 extra..

In my opinion, esso gold & esso low smoke are not much different.. only that esso gold is 100% synthetic..

producing of low smoke, i think both the same...

this is what i experience lah..

 

about maxima castor 927, it is completely smokeless.. very good & smooth!

only the smell not nice ..

 

for castrol racing 2t, good for racing & whacking ur bike!

the smell is better than esso gold.. it is e same price as esso gold if u buy at LAB..

 

mobil1 extra 2T smell very nice!

very low smoke too..

If going for Value for money 2t, i would go for mobil1 extra!

 

in terms of performance & smokeless, Castor 927!

 

& i just bought putoline TTX 2T just now.. it is 100% synthetic.. only $12 frm LAB.. minus $2 the price of esso gold & castrol racing!

2t from carefour like no more already, been checking at suntec, staff there also dono when stock comein. never checked at ps before. heard from fren using that say its ok for commuting.

used royal purple on my previous bike. Before that was using esso gold. All i can say is that throttle response was better when i was using royal purple

You can get it from an electrical shop (ironically enough) in tanjong pagar plaza. Blk 2, #02-20 if im not mistaken. It's pretty easy to find. The auntie carries the whole range of royal purple goodies.

i've switched happily to Maxima K2 . I got it from Mustafa centre level 4 for $28.00 . My third day using it and i can say it's better than Motul 710 ....

bro u can try this brand name texas the 2T if i not mistaken about $60+ per litre its somewhere at serangoon rd junction where when u turn right u will go to potong pasir and when u turn left u go hougang. U go straight and u go paya lebar not sure what that junction call
