Red Light Camera

This may be a unique case, I am driving in tampines, turning right to go into PIE. Well, this is what happen....

 

I was driving and planning to turn right, there are two right turn lane, I am on the left side (Since I am going to turn left after turning right.) of the 2 lanes. There are 1 big lorry (Class 4) and 1 taxi and 1 private car, however, the big lorry broke down or something, which causes the taxi to use the lane to the left (as the next right turn lane have a ridiculously long queue). He then proceeded to turn right from there.

 

The private car did the same, and without saying me too. However, as I turn, I think I saw a flash in the red light camera through the side mirrors. The only difference from those cars turning and me turning is that, they cut into the front of the lorry... I however, was lazy and just turn like that...

 

So let presume i got the summon, will i be able to appeal successfully? This thread is mostly to get my mind at ease...But note that i have quite a number of times imagine a flash....

situation unclear... did you use a right turn lane to do a right turn?

 

red light cameras works in pair...

 

if you beat the first one.. but 2nd camera didnt manage to snap a pic of you in action... you're safe. (meaning to say you brake too late and went pass the line but never pass through the juntion).

how does red light camera work? cos i think i might tio one.. cos once it turn amber i cant slow down the speed, then it turn red and i just pass the line only.

 

anybody care to share?

Nope, I turn in a go straight only lane but htat is bcz a big lorry broke down in one of the 2 right turn lanes...So there is only 2 choices, use the go straight only lane or try to squeeze in the other right turn lane.

 

Was planning to squeeze in, but saw that the 2 cars in front of me use the go straight only lane to turn right and thus copy them...The only difference is that I am lazy and did not attempt to turn more sharply...

Bro I think very hard to appeal... Coz you are following what others do and there's still another lane for u to turn... Unless you appeal saying the lorry broke down and block two turning lanes...

1) does beating right turn arrow at right turn only lane, activate the camera?

 

cos i turn when light is amber and right arrow 1st blink (im totally safe)

but the car behind turn later so not sure if the car behind gt activate the camera n capture my bike too inside the pic..

2) anw how long aft light turn red den sensor activate..?

3) right turn gt sensor?
