Recommended Posts

Need help deciding as first time buying bike. CB400X. Thinking of using for 2 years before upgrading.

1. 2015 Brand new (with box & ABS) $19300 4% interest.

2. 2013 Used (without box nor ABS) $14900 6% interest. 8 years COE.

Both with comprehensive insurance $850. Admin fee and transfer fee.

Which one should I get? Motorbike friends please help.

rule of thumb bro: if you have definite plans of upgrading and planning only short term ownership, second hand is the better way to go. you lose less money over two years and you found a two year old which is rather new for 75% of the price (shd try shop for cheaper actually).

my personal opinion is buy brand new only if you plan to own for minimum of 5 years, but thats just my own personal rule of thumb.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!
