Did you not break in properly?

Well my friend just hit me hard about 2b and 2a bikes. I looked up s4 and r3 which is 2a bikes. They have similar prices to my rc200 which is a huge difference. A lot of my friends n relative said what you guys mentioned, to get a small second hand bike use it for commuting n upgrade to 2a then get a bn bike then since the prices between 2a and 2b are not too far apart.

Now I'm in a dilemma.

Remember that you'll have to stick to your decision for AT LEAST a year. So whatever you eventually get, make sure you like it enough. Else if it's "merely for commuting to work / school", go get a twist and go scooter.

I had eyes on FZ16 too because of the fact the fuel consumption was quite good compared to the others. If money on petrol is an issue, I would definitely get that. But I'm the kind who sometimes would put appearance > quality. In this case, I want a nice bike, with a big tank(appearance wise) + sports look. My best bet would be a RS200 I believe. I've come to realized, RC200 for 2b is really out of the list already.

FZ16ST go search that up haha. But i am upfront telling you that FZ16 lacks performance. I know they max out at about 120kmh.

Btw today i saw an RS200 with pannier. pretty sweet looking.

Eh, not really, I had an FZ16 for over 3 years. Bought it brand new some more.

It's only 28kmpl during my first year, dropped to 23kmpl by my third year. Never gotten anywhere near 400km on a full tank even with reserve. At most hit like 300km.

That's the fuel consumption of my R3 and it's worrying to know haha. FZ16 fuel consumption aint that terrible.

Bro R3 cost WAYYYYY lesser than RC200. I got my R3 brand new 16k. CB190R brand new cost about 14K++, think about it haha. Just get a decent 2nd hand 2B bike, grit your teeth for a year, then upgrade to whatever you like bro

I'll be getting most likely a second hand r15v2 because it can be gotten lesser than 10k at least and honestly the design and looks is appealing to me. I would be able to look at it everyday with a smile I say because of how the ass and the bike looks like hahah. My 2a bike would be r3 no doubt. i wanted to get a super4 but it's roughly 5-6k more than a r3 which is like 80cc difference. i think im the rider who wants a more aggressive look and posture, r3 it is

I'll toss a curveball into this picture.... take a look at the Aprilia RS125.... Yes, 125cc. But it's a 2-stroker and at 28bhp and 19Nm of max torque, it's an even more powerful machine than your RC200 with fiercer looks than the Yammy R15 on skinny wheels. =P

BTW, when I was at your stage of bike shopping / researching, I did look at the R15v2 and the CBR150R too. While the R15 has a nice ass (like what you've observed), it's legs appear too skinny on it's bulky frame for a proper sports bike look.

Yeah, the R15 tank size is small for its wide fairing haha. CBR150 looks more appropriately sized

I'm totally with you in this. CBR150R > R15.

In terms of appearance wise?

It's a very personal thing.... For me, it'll be CBR150R, then RS200, then R15.

But those DRL's on the RS200 are damn sexy!

Thanks guys!! For all the insights and opinion. I really appreciate it.

...ooh... and before you decide that the Yammy R3 is your 2A bike of dreams, check out the new 2016 Honda CBR250RR and drool over it in the meanwhile.... Heehee...

DUDE what. The thickness of the tyres make it so sexy. Is it possible to change R3 to have a bigger tyre? I know increasing size will drop the speed abit

the CBR250's tyre isn't that thick lol it's the same as my stock R3. R3 stock width is 140, can change to 150.

I heard rumors that they will be making a similar 300cc version of CBR250 2017. Unless that's true, CBR250 is kinda meh. R3 can smoke the CBR250, and the bike is too complex for a 250. I bet it will cost around RC200's price if not higher

Why does it look like as if the cbr250rr is bigger than r3. But certainly I'm still going for yamaha r3.
