Excuse to park and you wont be fine ? Any ?

Hi guys, is there anyway to excuse for fine in any no parking area (common property or open space) . Will the following reason be enough to excuse the offence ? Can any experience biker care to share wif it ?

 

1.) If your bike broke down, you pull over to some open space and trying to fix it up.

 

2.) If the riddler is very sick and pull over for a while.

 

3.) If your father is MP

 

4.) If work in Town council or HDB

1) if your bike breakdown. and u had called for tow, though it might take up to a few hours while waiting, u need to stick to your bike.

 

2)very sick? then u should ride to a nearer carpark to park. put a 65 cents coupon.

 

3) so your father is MP? then u need not worry.

 

4) does it mean a police can kill people without getting sentence?

 

how much is the fine? just pay lo. take it as a tuition fee...

Really ah... even with good reason also cannot escape the fate of paying fine huh ?

 

But i believe if someone whom work closely to the related department should be able to get away easily. And you cant really take serious crime like killing people as a comparison.

And what will happen to the following scenario on such case occur while you are away for a while.

 

1) what if your bike break down and you are trying to fix it yourself. While stopping, you went to toilet.

 

2) What if you are very sick (stomach ache) and you need to pull over asap like going to toilet to release.

actually depend on where u park... and what the reason that make u park there... if reason is acceptable, den fined wavied... if not, den just pay the fined ba, at least u try... haha.... it not as if u appeal den not successful den double fined....

well, TP will ask u to park it properly s to nt to disrupt traffic..

he wun fine u if ur bike is spoilt n u r trying to get it right..

4 question 3 n 4, hey, dis is S'pore, unlike other country where u cn use ur connection to waive ur fine...

Even your father is MP, He think he so free, just $8 or $25 fine need to help u write letter.. MP salary to him is nth to the fine.. If work town council or HDB, u should know the rules n regulations where to park. Just pay a fine and treat it as a lesson. U got $ own a bike, dont tell me just a small fines n cant afford..

but guys, must admit some TPs are really really guai lan. got one time i'm pulled over for not switching on headlight. but truth is my headlight bulb had blown which is unknown to me.

You really crack me up.... people are just doing their jobs, making a livelihood. You park illegally, they give you a summons. What could be more fair than that?

U might be able to appeal once or twice depending on the seriousness of the offence. But dun think the authorities will entertainment u much if u are gonna appeal 3 times a month, even if the reason are genuine…

The comparison is there, its not as if u are being hang for parking illegally. Serious offence = heavy punishment. Minor traffic offence = fine and maybe points. Best way to escape the fate of paying fine is to park legally.

I just got my appeal waive off. But still need to pay for admin fee. Now Why is that so ? even with valid reason, you still have to pay huh ?
