Hi guys,

 

i will be finishing my payment for my x1 in September.

AFAIK, there's no longer any log cards, they had since been replaced by the electronic form.

Let's say i had finished paying my installments, what happen next ? How do i know that the ownership had now been transferred to me and I am the sole owner of the bike ?

Make sure your bike shop gives you back the spare keys that they're holding on to & you can check the ownership of your bike using your Singpass from the ONE.MOTORING website...

 

Steps to do a proper KNNBCCB with middle finger.

 

1. Bow down slightly, looking intensely at objective

2. Like a raging bull, hop and jog slowly towards objective

3. Take your left palm and slap it hard on the right mid-arm with a SLAP!

4. With charisma, raise right arm, whilst showing middle finger (with left palm trapped in bend right arm)

5. Shout! KNNBCCB

so is the ownership of the bike changed instantly to my name ?

cos i COI the bike from a private seller, and he is going to transfer the ownership to me...

will i be able to do it the same day ?

i also bought my bike from the private then settle full cash for the bike at a motor shop.. but the personnel told me that there's no spare key for my bike.. is it possible? or i kena scram? =/

Private Seller right Bro. Tat means the Bike Shop dun haf the Spare Key lah. If have also then have 2 b wif the Previous Owner :sweat:

Call up ur seller and i m sure he will do the transfer but who bear the cost of transfer? normally will be u...

most of the time if it's already 2nd or third owner dont even think U can get spare key cause not sure where it was registered. Nowdays U cna check the owner online at one motoring so dont worry lah who's the owner! Once u finish paying off all the installment if u wanna sell the bike U got to do transfer at LTA yourself if full settlement or U go to the shop giving out the loan to do all the paperwork for u wit a fee of course...

For COI cases, the shop will still settle with the 'owner' (give him the spare keys also).

 

Then the 'owner' and you can go to LTA to do the transfer. You can check out the transfer fee from One.Motoring website.

 

Since you are riding the bike now, the insurance should cover you.

 

If the 'owner' want to run away, you got a big problem.
