Can someone help me understand the differences between these two? I'm attracted to the utility of a scooter with a large storage compartment. Being a big guy (1.92m, 130 kg) having a larger bike (2B) is also nice. But I can't figure out the difference between these two except for a digital speedometer on the X9. Thanks!

they say you can open up the rear of the X8 and put a half golf bag... X9 can't...

but both should be quite fun rides for a 2B maxi scooter...

take note of the maintenance for italian bikes though... things may start breaking once in a while

In simple English without getting into technical. Here is my personal opinion after owning both bikes for a short period of time.

X8 has been phased out

Advantage is its boot capacity is bigger than the X9

More versatile as it is shorter in length.

X9 comes with 180, 200, 400, now even got 460cc

The electrical dash board is really a pain to repair

i have always been biased towards x9. i love x9 so much UNTIL i had 5 altogether within a 3 year period. 3 200 evo and 2 500cc. i love their sharp nose, big seat compartment and rear box. i love the box so much that one of the scoot i bought didnt come with original box. i was so devastated that i called around asking shop if they had spare box.

whati dont like is the problems always come in tandem. if the battery is spoilt, it will come with other problem such as rectifier , contact and such. if cooling spoit, pump spoil lah and such.

but with all the problems, i wish i had kept my favourite one. fz33--. sighhhhhh
