ST200 Runner owner - 2009 / 2010

Hi all..jus got my st200 today(brand new)..travel for 6km..the speedometer and odo not moving and the meter looks foggy..any guys who jus got the bike met any other problem?

I got my ST 200 brand new on the 27 Feb .. so far so good .. dun have any problem

Bro..ur meter especially the speed there got get foggy after riding for sometime(30-40mins)?

No such problem so far , btw my bike have not yet contact with any water yet … for yr case I think maybe the meter "rubber" seal or what even seal got hole which allow outside air what entering the meter …

Most old meter got such wear and tear problem ..

I think st200 new or used, must see u lucky or unlucky. New owners havin prob on day 1, some got it used but as gd as new.

My meter foggy is cause By the heat not water..anyway Today went down to piaggio agent..they do up the seal and the speedo sensor..problem solve..

you should try getting back to the agent to have them resolve this problem... since there is still warranty for it!

hi guys. i wld like to know which engine oil is the best for gilera st200? As i saw theres quite number of brand like AGIP, Maxima 5w-40 & 10w-40. So just curious which one is better as accordance to ur experience. Hope to hear from you guys soon. Cheers!

You means the Orange fuel light started to blink after 170 km ?

For my case the orange light will light up when only 2 bar left at 165-185 km (dependingon my riding style) .

I will go for refulling at around 210km , fill in around 8.3L of petrol which means I got the avg fuel comsumption of around 25 Kilometer per Litre of fuel .

and i was wondering if i changed to a legal aftermarket pipe and aftermarket airfilter, will my 1year/10000km warranty be voided?

For every cold start, is it needed for me to throttle to start the engine? Cos w/o throttling i can start at 3rd attempt? Normal or unusual?
