guys i just bought the bike. does the bike idle and it vibrate until the bike is shaking?

I find it weird but the bike shop said ST200 is like that 1.

 

The temperture is also hot when i open the air vent beside my foot rest.

When i lose it still ok.

 

Mine all is still stock.

My ST200 give out a tick tick sound whenever I press the rear brake. When bike is stationery and I press rear brake lever, no click sound.... But whenever bike is moving, and I press the rear brake, it gives a tick sound.

 

What could be the problem?

Nothing to worry about...sounds to me like the brake caliper's clip!

i find dat the throttle free play is kinda "long"... anyway i can shorten the free play? now is like 1cm of free play, another cm then the bike will move off...

Remove ur speedo Fairing..

There will be a throttle cable adjustable nut.. Lossen the nut and extend the screw out, then tighten back the nut.

It works with every bike as they all operate on throttle cable.

pick up is really slow and that it takes a whole lot of effort to accelerate. Once moving off from stationary it takes a quite sometimes to move off fast. I used to ride a yamaha fino so i know automatic bikes usually moves faster then this. Any idea why?

Perhaps the guy installed a heavier rollers instead of the lighter ones.

which reduced the acceleration rate, due to the heavier roller weight that requires more power to spin the variatior hence you are experiencing slow acceleration during the pick up.

The gain for this set up might have a better cruising speed for the top end range.

 

You can send ur bike for a check on the transmission, there might be other issue as well.

If is just the heavy roller issue, you can replace it with malossi rollers as that came with several different weights.

I will recommend either 10.5 or 11.5 grams which will be more suitable for pick up.

On top of that, if you are hungry for more power, you can get either get malossi/polini after market variatior which has a better climb gradient for your belt hence you will experience much much better pick up.

Need an advise... Just took out gilera st200 few weeks back.. Got some issues to confide in...

 

1)My shield have sticker mark on it and it cant be remove... Can i one to one exchange with piaggio agent?

 

2) i notice early morning,its kind of hard to start for the first few crank. Isit normal as the engine is cold?

 

3)when i bought from the shop, i notice that my brake disc got rusty mark on it... Try to wiped it and removed it but cant.can it be change?

 

4)while riding, isit normal for ur leg to feel hot as it come hot from the engine? And i

Smell some burnt smell on it. Isit normal as it new?

 

5) where can i get good suspension for the replacement of original suspension n how much? N wats diffirences that it made?

 

6) n lastly, i got free box frm

Shop wen purchase the bike.it come with mount base plate on it. As i am kinda big size, when me n my pillion seat on it, its kind o squeezy for the pillion wif the box on it. Is there anyway i can shift the box backward abit or do they sell any monorack or rack so that can extend backward...

If is stock, the average fc probably you will get is approximately 30/L.

If is equipped wit open port filter average will be approximately 25/L.

The 70% of the accerlation part will determine how high or low ur fc will be if you know what I mean. Haha

Btw bro how come you downgrade from silverwing to runner?

replaced the battery on my 07 VXR twice within a space of 1.5 months. Due to work unable to ride it often.

 

does a normal battery drain out so fast?

 

i suspect leaks or some wirings shorted to ground? What's the possibilities? anyone has any experience to share?
