umm... hopefully some directions on where to start i guess? though i've been riding for 3 years now, i've never done any cosmetic mods before. should i go with a sticker or spray paint finish for the bike? i'm thinking sticker would be better for my case?

always have the impression that spray or powdercoat is for metal surfaces... the runner feels/looks more plastic-ky to me. haha. and what kind of hand guards will fit? any?

Hi, can anyone help, where I can fix my foggy speedometer and estimated price? thanks!!!

There is no way to do so... in fact many people are facing this issue as well. Go back to the agent and have it sorted! That will be much easier!

Hey bro, clearly something is wrong because the engine oil has entered the compartment and broke in to the coolant piping from the engine internally. Otherwise, try flushing your coolant and not mix it with other color or brands for another 1-2 months... if still persist. Kindly check on your engine.

Do not go to tai hin for anything- went there today, changed to my Malossi red springs for clutch. Somehow, the response was worse than yellow springs and reving high but no torque( wasn't like that before as I have used red springs) they claim it's not their product and nothing can be done except change the whole clutch!! Told them to change back to yellow springs then. They wanted to charge me twice $35x2!! No examining of problem and no cheaper for changing back on same day. Look elsewhere for your tuning guys.

hie guys. im planning to get a 2nd hand gilera. what are the important things that need to look out for when buying a 2nd hand gilera? it would be great if u guys could give me some advise.

Basically ..... set aside some cash for repairs more practical. Italian bikes are more 'troublesome' and expensive to maintain. Can just get the info from owner (if he is honest) to list down the date of replacement items like fuel hoses. waterpump, mounting, coolant and servicing.

seems to me st200 got alot of problems even for a new bike ah? anybody got no problems with their bikes?

Depends on the "problems" definition you're looking into. Problems will surfaced if we don't take i.a. upon discovering something amiss.

And best is, keep bike's condition STOCK!! 'Coz generally, most spent more on mods than maintenance, i.e. periodic basic maint.

IMHO, no prob with my '08 ST200. Most ex parts replaced to date is the water-pump @ S$260, if I could remember correctly @ Botak.

Now am considering to sell to upgrade to the 300... :thumb:

Good luck & ride safe!

there are many many upgrade options for the piaggio engines especially like the gilera st200... to maintain the old plastics and turning them back into black again... use the amorall

Hi guys, i may need some advice from u... i have my fuel tank pump to full and got leakage at the undercarriage. i went to work shop for repair and was told that two possible faults: Either it could be the fuel sensor got leak or it could be the fuel tank problem. They dismantle the top part and use a air blower dry the fuel leak and then said it is the fuel sensor at fault and need to replace. After replacing the fuel sensor and start the bike still got fuel leakage out from the brim of the tank top. As early when they use the air blower to dry the tank top, i still could see the fuel sipping out from the O-ring seal edge . After which they claim is comfirm fuel tank problem, and said only problem solving is change the whole fuel tank which might cost a few hundreds..... and i couldn't get the refund of the fuel sensor as it has been used.... can any body advice?
