cant help u to answer that as i never go for my 5000km and 10000km, i only did my servicing on my 12000km mileage... heeee.... :cheeky:

wen over to HKL tis morning to take my bike n push over to albert but albert not open yet.. so was just trying my luck and try to start the bike..to my surprise the bike can start..

so i tink the engine or wateva parts is wet and the weather is too cold to start maybe?so i guess by keeping the bike overnight, everitin dry up from the heavy rain yest..

wat do you guys tink..?

Just went for piaggio yesterday for the 5000 km servicing. Enquiry about my fuel gauge and the mechanic told me that maybe there's a spare part for it. I jolly wait for them to do servicing on my bike. After they had done with my bike, found out they just change spark plug, oil filter and engine oil. The mechanic told me that the fuel gauge problem part was not available right now and he asked for my contact number just in case the stock arrived, he will call me for an appointmet to do the fuel gauge defect. He also told me alot of people had this fuel gauge problem.

 

I hope in near future gilera models come out with analogue fuel gauge meter rather than the digital bar... hahahahaha

guyz..izit a gd to do backfire ur leovince pipe?.i saw a few of gilera riders do the backfire thing like sound very scary...btw izit legal or its will spoilt ur engine or other parts?.

nop its no good... heee... yes it is legal, but if u took out ur silencer than it is not....

 

but hei, yesterdae i saw VXR with LV pipe, and i notice that he can do backfire with his silencer on... wanted to ask hiim, but scared la... loll...

backfiring occurs when u r running too lean. it can also occur when there's a leak in ur exhaust system. i've heard u can 'manmade' ur runner to backfire more often by inserting some ball bearing or sumthing ard ur carb area. but din try cos i hate the sound made. whether legal or not, not so sure abt tis. maybe sum1 can try in front of tp? hehehehe

 

imo, in a long run it MAY damage ur engine, esp ur exhaust valve. as the exhaust system is design to extract used 'air', the back pressure tat is cause during backfiring prevent tat action to occur.

nid help guyz,for those gilera riders using leovince sbk pipe.izit normal tats the pipe come out smoke??? i mean black smoke...cos when my bike fstop at traffic light and i look back at my pipe its like come out smoke but not alot smoke out la...should i go shop ask or maybe sum of oldies can help me for those who got this exprience b4?
