I just bought a ST200 and have some questions in mind.

 

If i change my pipe will it void the warranty even if its registered with LTA?

 

Also, high mount can pass inspection at VICOM?

if u mean the 1year or 12000km warranty with piaggio..? to what i noe,the warranty will be void...any parts change from the stock, warranty void... to double confirm, please call piaggio centre...the number in the warranty...

 

high mount cant pass tiger squad, so i dun tink it can pass VICOM but again it depend on the mood of the inspector oso...haha... tat time my fwen kena fine almost $500 for high mount and otha stuff.. my advise, just normal mount will do.. haha.. but it all depends o u...

Then i ask the inspector to cancell the registration inspection and get back the refund feessssss..... no need to return back with stock.

 

PS-This is just an inspection and registration of aftermarket exhaust broooo that i went that day.

I just changed mine to the Michelin Pilot Sport bout a month back or so....

So far its performing up to my expectations.....

 

FYI, theres no hoops or rubber in the world yet that can achieve all the above together..... each one of them have its pros n cons.... so u need to know exactly what u want.

If u want high grip in the dry, usually its the tyre with the soft compund n least amount of thread.

Best in wet for grip would be the one with a good thread pattern to disperse the water.

The mile muncher would be usually made of hard compund rubber.

 

The pilot sport gives u high grip in the dry and extra lean angles.....

the gold standard gives u good wet grip n more milage than the pilot......

not to sure bout the rest thou...... but its always gd to find some feedback from others or do your own research on the net.....

So choose your weapon wisely

if ur the average rider then michelin sport or gold standard will do juz fine..if u want good grip on wet condition,deflate ur tyres A BIT..this helps to increase the contact between the tyres and the road..Battlax is good for those who loves to do cornering or "corner baring"..hahaha

true, but one need to trial n error, cos different tyres react differently to different pressure, too much n your tyre will overheat and wear out too fast or unevenly, too little n theres no effect at all..... in my opinion playing with the pressure is more for fine tuning your needs for the tyre, its always best to get the tyre for the right choice first, then u do the fine tuning later

hi guys. need help here. Was riding earlier when my bike ran out of petrol. Luckily the petrol station wasn't that far away. So i push my bike to the petrol station and filled my tank. After that I rode as per normal for a while and then my engine died off. I tried starting my engine and it started as per normal but when I throttle, engine died. Again and again it happened. I thought since it was raining, water went in my fuel tank as I wasn't using the fuel tank cap. Could it be the cause of it? Anyway, after a while I tried riding really slow abt 50 to 60 km/h and everything was ok. I really dunnoe whats the cause of this. Anyone here ever encounter this kind of problem?

I left my bike out in the rain last 2 days(-_- presume will not rain but it did) and did not ride it but no probs today when i rode it and also under the rain too.

haiz. anyway, my bike no problem now. didnt go to any bike shop to check the problems. hopefully the problem dont appear again until my next service. and today rain, luckily not so heavy and luckily no problem with my bike, thankfully.
