Guys I went to install broquet fuel charger inside my bike after tat petrol started to leak out from the bottom somewhere near the engine.. Can anyone enlighten me?

problem solved case of bad timing.. just nice when i put the fuel charger inside the tank... the fuel tube gave way(wear & tear).. upsxz for vtec88

bro i think it's clutch slip. been having that problem since i bought my bike brand new. been going back to them so many times until i give up aldy. each time i bring the bike back, they'll fix it and a few days later the problem comes back. i asked if third party clutch will solve the problem but the mechs insists that it won't help. can anyone give any advise?...

Hi all riders, I bought my ST200 in Mar 2010. Recently went to change tires at SunRise at Kallang, the mechanic said my rear brake pads are going to wear off soon and adviced me to change so I agreed. After brake pads changed, whenever I brake, there is this squeaky high pitch yi yi sound...so embarassing. Went back to shop twice and mechanic just use air gun to blow at the brake disc area n spray some contact cleaner. It solves the problem at first but the next day this yi yi sound comes back. Can anyone advice me the solution? Btw, I need to do my 10000km servicing and change front brake pads. What should I change for this 10000km servicing and which shop can recommend and cost? This is basically due to improper bedding of the pads to the disc brake, whenever you change pads , you are required to break-in the pads, once you have done it wrong, it will cause a term which they call "disc-warpage"...... this causes the squeking sounds.

This implies to all bikes, makes and models.

 

FYI your disc is not warped..... so dont change your disc, its the uneven build-up of material onto your brake discs that cause the "warpage",.....

 

To solve-----> you just need to remove the uneven bedded material and install new pads for break-in again.

I'm also facing this same problem......... I've ever read in a UK forum, saying that its a minor miss-alignment (manufacturer fault they claim)), it causes our clutch to distribute and un-even pressure which causes slippages...... but this is something which gilera does not agree........basically we can't go back to piaggio, and the only way is to live with it or try to solve it ourselves. If anyone had solve the problem before do let all of us know of it.

I nv face my clutch slipping ever since i send my bike for a belt,u-shoe & roller change recently..Did so before the service..clutch slip will probably happen again when the component wears down..

Selling my brand new original suspension @ $120 from my runner, original front wndshield & rear plastic braket. Also for sale is LV 4 road @ $250, outlook condition not very nice, got scratches & dented but still works well....i will pay for the transfered of name for cert at G-max......pls call 81122552 to discuss if interested....

U don't have to live with it if u want u could change to a new clutch.or have ur mech to check ur clutch bell for any defect if any den change clutch + bell.

I'm facing big problem with tis runner St which I bought 2 mth back brand new and now the milage was jus 3k and it start giving me problem..No matter its in the morning/noon/night or even after I ride it and I wanna start it again it jus cant start...at least gotta try start for 10 min den can..At first I think it was the spark plug problem so I chg it but still the problem yet to solve "wad the hell" So Guy do U all face tis problem b4 and how do U guys solve it..Plssss help meeee!!!

Bro.. bring back piaggio.. they will most probably tell u its antenna problem.. its something like the sensor does not recognise your key or something.. u noe gilera has this sensor tingy rite?.. the blinking light at the speedometer there.. pls correct me if i am wrong.. Mine had the same problem.. cant start at all.. had it towed to the service centre..

Any idea if I go down to piaggio for my 3rd time free service, will they give me the free labour charge thingy? And also, can someone give me a breakdown on the price if I do a full service.. Bro, your bike is no longer eligible for the free servicing. It's reach 12k liao. Free servicing is only up to 10k or 1 year from date of purchase, whichever comes first.

Yap itz true...expensive... Because this botak do not buy spare parts in bulk.. So therefore as we know buy one item, the price is standard...if u buy in largeeeeeeeeeeeeeee bulk...u will have high bargaining power.... That is why he charge so expensive...plus....he will service your clutch...

 

If u want cheaper service price, there are other shops available such as tai hin...sunrise...Future scootering...AHM and the list goes on...

yeah change before and everything gd for only 2-3mths and the same thing starts all-over again,........I've already done and changed almost everything........ except for changing my transmission shaft. But I dont think it got to do with this problem.... but who knows it might just have an effect.....
