can anyone help me? i just change my air filter to the open pod brand simota? i think. i send my bike to AHM and change the setting and all.. my bike sound worst than a LVpipe cause im currently using the stock pipe and the pipe keep on glowing orange inside it and black smoke keep on appearing whenever i stop or start my engine. i wonder why? is it a must for me to change my stock pipe to some other pipe? thanks. HELP ME! ):

I encountered that too, seem like the belt started to slipped. time to change belt maybe....

bro, roughly after how long then need change you belt, roller, u-shoe? my mileage is about 12k+. Yet to change anythings except engine oil, filter and spark plug after riding for so long.

guys, after changing polini clutch, clutch bell and speed control, theoretically the performance of the bike should be better but it seems alot slower than before (stock) as in, require more rpm to reach 100. then i went back to consult the mech, they change the rollers, it improve alittle but still slower than stock performance. can anyone advice me on what to do? is there some settings need to be made? super disappointed cause i spend alot

I bought mine for $8300 OTR includes everything, dat was about 2 wk ago. But prices are more or less the same everywhere, its juz a matter where these guys are upfront with the cost invloved, bcoz some will sell you veri cheap but forgotten to tell.

Hey guys, newb here. Just bot a 2nd hand st200. Jus wanna no the basic maintenance required. Is it true that we have to change the belt and drive pulley at the same time? How long before one has to change? If one uses this bike for normal transportation, what is the mileage required before I need to change the eo? Also, would there be a prob wit the bike if I did not start for like a few days?

This bike apparently using a knn open port, with a Leo Vince pipe. What should the idling speed be? Mine I saw was arnd 1.5. Is that norm, or is the tuning wrong?

guys, u know where to get 2nd hand coverset for st200??? mine below footrest all damaged and scratched!! left "shoulder pad" got a big gaping hole.. tried going to ah lai alrdy but only new ones which is $170!!

3.eo, every 2500 to 3000km with oil filter and spark plug as well.

4.dun worry, there will be no problem starting it.

5.is normal rpm 1.5 is just right.

1.Full service is basically to clean your transmission,

replace your belt, rollers, u clip and gear oil also including the normal servicing which is changing eo, spark plug and oil filter.

2.Different shops have different price for their full service. price varies from $160 to $280.

3.Tyre wise i advise you to get Michelin Gold Standard.

4.No worries to cruise at 100km/hr. As i been regularly crusuing 110 to 120km/hr for more then 15mins during my rides:)

Hi all riders, I bought my ST200 in Mar 2010. Recently went to change tires at SunRise at Kallang, the mechanic said my rear brake pads are going to wear off soon and adviced me to change so I agreed. After brake pads changed, whenever I brake, there is this squeaky high pitch yi yi sound...so embarassing. Went back to shop twice and mechanic just use air gun to blow at the brake disc area n spray some contact cleaner. It solves the problem at first but the next day this yi yi sound comes back. Can anyone advice me the solution? Btw, I need to do my 10000km servicing and change front brake pads. What should I change for this 10000km servicing and which shop can recommend and cost? Thanks all riders...be safe...

Bro try washing ur disc and pad by spraying degreaser. Few mins later rinse it off clean with water.

most probably will be alright after that.
