i tried the 07 cbr600 b4, its a good bike to ride with plenty of mid range and a lot more bottom end power than the R6. But the R6's engine has character, after 6k rpm the R6 flies. I top the cbr at 240kph while the R6 can top way higher than that. So i guess it depends on which track you are riding on and which bike is better for it.

 

The R6s in world supersport are way faster than any of the other competing bikes, that was commented by the Hanspree Honda Riders. Hanspree Honda won because they set up the bike to last the whole race which the Yamaha teams didnt. But during qualifying, the R6s always lap 1 or 2 seconds faster. But i guess World Supersport is different to the real world, since the bikes are mostly stripped and rebuilt
