Looking for road trips and local ride together. Hope this thread will get all scooters riders to come together to organise more road trips / Local rides / coffee sessions.

RIDE TOGETHER TO KULAI YELLOW CORNER LASI LEMAK.

 

Please leave your name if joining.

 

The following are the details for the event.

Date: 16 Dec 2016

Time: 2100H. (No waiting. Dont be late)

(slip road right after tunnel before going up to Tuas checkpoint. Once see tunnel keep left. The slip road is just 30metres after the tunnel)

Speed: 80km -90km

Terrian: 100% Road

Total Distance: 53km

 

ITINERARY

After lasi lemak we may all process to johore for thai massage.

 

Note:

- Foul weather or PSI >120, this ride will be cancelled. Decision will be made by 2000H.

- Do have some food before the ride.

- We obey traffic rules. Do not beat red lights.

- Please self-invite and share with your friends.

- The host does not guarantee anyone's safety.

MANDATORY CHECKS

-All motorbike lightings and indicator check correct

- Enough Fuel

- Tyre Pressure

- Appropriate Attire

- Intercom headset check (if available)

 

RULES / SAFETY

- Respect the decision of the leader/organiser

 

- Follow instructions and speed ordered agreed by the the group. Safety of everyone overwrites everything in this ride.

 

- Do not over take the lead or fall behind sweepers

 

- Always Ride in stagger formation leaving a 30 meters gag to your front rider. (For emergency evade)

 

- Do not over lap wheels. Always leave 30m gag from from rider.

 

- Avoid riding in the blind spot of your front rider.

 

- Be attentive. Always look at least 100m ahead.

 

- Always signal intention before making turns and filtering. Do not assume your friends knkw your riding style.

 

- DO Not cut each other lane and make sudden turn.

 

- No surging at traffic lights. Riders leading the group to take note- Gradually roll off at traffic lights so that people at the back can catch up.

 

- Sound out pothole / danger by horning once. Best if able to point - to warn off riders who have lost their concentration during the ride.

 

- No sudden braking or stopping.

 

- Stop at all red lights

 

- Sound out when u feel unwell or giddy- if you feel unwell please do not push on. There is always another day. Just inform the sweeper and fall out in a safe manner.

 

-inform sweeper when breaking off.

 

- Do not panick if lost sight of group. Last guy of group when automatically assume marker for the group at every turn. If marker is not sighted, continue straight. You may switch on waze navigation to direct you to stated location.

Rolling: 0800H sharp

Venue: Woodland Central KFC

Speed: 80 -100kmph

Total Distance: 150km to and flo

Seafood lunch

Buy local biscuits and product

Ride to most southern tip of malaysia

Visit southern tip tourist attraction ( if i am not wrong its RM8 per person)

Ride back to singapore for to count down or dinner with family

 

Note:

2100H Ride to Jalan ahmad Ibrahim Shell station

 

2200H Ride to Petron linkedua North Bound petrol Station in Malaysia to top up petrol and sim card

 

2230H Roll out from Petron

 

2315H Reach coxswain cafe

 

0030H Proceed to Johore bahru for optional massage. Those who wish to exit johore may do so.

 

Speed: 90 -110kmph depending of class of bike joining the trip

Total Distance: 60km to and flo
