hmm.. normally when we pump tyre pressure at petrol station.. lets say if we press for 200kpa.. then everytime after a beep sound, just when u pluck out the thing that time, will have some air release sound..

question is : does it release some air out and make the tyre pressure inaccurate?

For me is during every or 2nd petrol top up, should be approximately every 4-5 days or 8 days... but considering that i have changed into a bike with a larger fuel tank, i might jus pump my tires every topping up of petrol...

It also depends on how often u ride though, if u under utilize ur bike and u only pump petrol only once every 2 weeks or more, it is advisable to pump up ur tires during every petrol top up...

I totally agree with PaLmEr regarding the importance of maintaining tyre pressure, it boost fuel efficiency and stability of the vehicle... for smaller bikes u might not "feel" the steering weight differences but for heavier bike with a semi flat tyre the difference is easily detected...

so pump up ur tyres whenever u can, after all, it's FREEEeeee kkkk...

but more importantly, pump tyres when they're cold. air in the tyre havent expand. as for me, i usually pump every top up petrol session. straight from home, pump tyre and tank. u'll feel better with a full tank and a good pressure tyre

I'd rather get a Leo Vince than a Louis Vuitton.

as i mentioned b4.. its better to get a tire pressure gauge.. becos the air pumps at the petrol stations r normally quite inaccurate.. once i brought the gauge to check the diff.. it came up to 4psi..

tat means on the pump its indicated 36psi.. but my tires were 40psi..

for my SP I pump 200kpa for front and 220kpa for the back as suggested from my sgbike fren kguanz haha

but everytime i take off the pump when i heard the beep sound i heard air release and from reading above this thread, it's releasing from the pump itself not the tyre but then i pump again my index is still lower haha

So i pump quite a few more times just to make sure.
