DIY exhaust slider

i heard tat it possible to DIY exhaust slider.

ani 1 care to teach n wat material is needed?

go buy a PU tube. Make sure it'z long to wrap around the entire pipe. find a circlip that is able to go inside the pu tube. U can buy it at the flat behind the kopitiam at ah boy. shop closes at 5pm. or else where where u can find a PU tube. Go for the bigger hose.

i went down there but jus cant find. ask the whole area alrdy.

their hose clamp are all too big to be fitted inside tubes.

n their tube are all jus normal tubes or either the holes of the tube are jus too small.

 

ani 1 can enlighten mi further?

Find the dimension and pass to me. I know a workshop that can machine out sliders with their CNC. But it will cost you.

 

I have pass them my SV650S Slider measurement, they use an Aluminum Alloy "Claimed for aircraft use" Original pair may cost me $70+ got it for $30 after Neg. As I need to get the screws and install on my own.

in case fall.. it will take bulk of the damage instead of the exhaust..

if is a stationery fall, the slider will take most of it..

but is a moving bike fall, the slider will not take much of the damages..

the exhuast will still kena..
