Good day cello bros and Sis

I've been hearing weird sounds coming from my sp. There will be an eek-ing sound when ever I am moving, and especially loud when I move off. Also, there is also a pulsing sound when moving, and the pulsing gets faster as I increas speed. It doesn't come while revving at stationary. So I think it's not engine prob? Appreciate any advice and help, thanks in advance bros.

thats normal? hahaha. Cause when i move off, there's this eek-ing sound like rusty hinges together with the flush flush sound if we're talking about the same thing. when at speed then the eek-ing sound not very loud. especially moving off, its exceptionally loud. if its from the brake pads...does it mean....must change already?

Haha the eek-ing sound from the brake pads I have it too, but it happened to me when i tried to U-turn on slope and I brake suddenly and caused me to drop my bike due to the gravitational side of the down slope lol then I realise my brake lever was abit bent and when I rode i heard eek-ing sound too, I suppose it could be brake pads got abit stuck.

When I push my bike on stationary with engine off, i can feel abit of friction on certain portion of my blade, so I oso not sure if that's the source of my eek-ing sound.

Try pushing ur bike too with engine off and see if there are strong friction. it might be brake pads stuck but correct me if im wrong. hehe

That happens to me too. But the sound came way before I dropped my bike.

You mean you buy the bike you didn't check it? lol

Push to bikeshop ask them to inspect the brakes. I would recommend Looi's motor and Unique motors if you're living on the east side hehe

Haha, I bought from fellow forumer here, but then he mia liao. Usually when I'm reaching the parking lot, I would put neutral and off my engine, let it cruise by itself, then can hear the sound (i think) you're talking about earlier. According to the seller, he say very stock la, the bike, only thing is stomach and end can tong, but I changed to a stock can already. Hmm...

Yea, the mechanic at my work place also said something like the brake disc/pads rubbing or something, but bearings i'm not sure. Is it gonna be very costly to fix this?

I've had lots of bad experience with bike shops, most of them see me look like small kid wanna chop me till very bad, so...hopefully I can get some enlightenment from fellow bros here.

I went looi's motor and unique motors, not bad... i changed my brake pads at looi's but i forgot about cost, if im remembered correctly brake pads one side $35, so total $70 for front and back dunno considered expensive a not haha

I see I see...so...most possible reason is that the brake pads...bearings...hmm...can anyone explain on that one?

Maybe cos the brake pads are eating into your brake disk.. It's dangerous as it will wear out your brake disks and it's not cheap to change them. Bearings maybe cos it's worn out..

Wa! So serious? But it has been going on for quite sometime already ley. The eeking sound came recently that's why I got a little worried luh. Some bros say it might be the chain as well, I was thinking maybe so too, since I haven't oiled for quite sometime. But then again the pulsing + eeking seems to be coming from the front ley...

Do some self maintenance:

1) spray your chain.

2) check if chain is loose?

3) check if your brake pad really finish.

4) if people are talking about disc brake, off your engine and push your bike.

from there you will be able to hear properly.

5) check your wheel bearing. (get ur fren to lift the wheel up. slowly turn ur wheel. does it move to the left and right producing weird sound?

there are many cause. i advise you to bring over to a trusted bike shop to check it out.

I see I see. Okay okay, will do the above, thanks so much for all the help. Keep you all posted about whats wrong.
