short of revealing what exactly you need, I can only tell you to go straight to the 3rd floor. Most of the shops carry the about the same stuff.

:)

Ah! Thanks bro Demon. Will try and check it out...

Do you guys know where to get the special screwdrivers for the IU?

Not sure what type it is, but for sure Sim Lim Square has it. But bro, i'll think twice in trying to pry open the IU coz once tempered warranty void. Believe me, i changed 3 IUs in 1 year. Lol.... Luckily paid only for the first 1..

:cheeky:

I posted this in the Ducati thread, but thought it might help other bikers here too. Pouch, battery holder and switches are readily available, entire mod costs no more than 30 minutes and $10.

Batteries are connected in series. 8 X 1.5volts = 12volts. An AA battery should have roughly 50% more juice than AAA batteries. Rechargable batteries might work, but at 1.2volts each, voltage might be alittle too low.

The battery packs are stacked back to back, and fits into where the plastic cover used to be. Cover can be removed by pushing the two metal pins out. I installed a switch to turn it off after use so the battery does not drain.

what the benfit of having battery powered IU...?

which add possible problem on

1. frequent replacement during to drainage..

2. risk of not been detect at gantry due to low bat

3. 12V supply from bike can easily be tapped...

and added a extra variable to worry for...

previously have to worry and ensure there is cash card...and enough $$$

now have to worry...IU got enough battery...si lor..

From Honda's Phantom to ..................

Clearing each stage at SSDC and BBDC for bike license was fun !!!
