Hi, anyone encounter battery weak on the MP3, after many day not using the bike. ?

today, I suspect my problem is battery weak, because the once I turn on the bike electrical power (at the key switch), the horn siren alarm 'on' continuously, and I am not able to start the engine.

anyone encounter similar symptom ?

I took out the battery and currently changing the battery and see how it works tomorrow morning when the battery is charged.

I am currently riding a super four. and i travel alot which burns a hole in my wallet for the patrol charges... Is MP3 250cc or 400 more fuel economically? i usually travel from semei to jurong everyday and travel along ecp at 110kmh to make sure i get to work on time... can the mp3 250cc and 400 do this without any problem.. i am really confused if i should just keep my super 4 or change to this nice bike.. All i want is to save money to bring my family for a holiday!

have some queries hope some Piaggio MP3 owners could help me with it.

 

1. i read some posts here that the bike, when you stop the bike at junction or traffic lights, your leg have to come down to support it? is there 1 that doesn't require my leg to be up and down?

 

2. during parking of the bike, need to put suspension lock or what? if never put how? the bike will drop?

 

3. i only have class 2b meaning i can only buy the 125cc right? 1st hand how much? 2nd hand how much?

 

4. what are the things to look out for during my purchase of this bike?

 

5. pro and cons of this bike?

 

6. anyone "choy" met with an accident on this bike before? how serious it is?

 

7. what are the list of maintenance needed for this bike? I used to ride a phantom ta200. but that was a few years back.

 

8. auto or manual bike?

 

hope to have some inputs so i can start calculating my financial capability of owning 1.

I am an MP3 400 owner, need advise on this problem.

 

Recently the tilt lock work intermitently, sometimes it cannot activate & need to engine off then it works ok again. Suspect it could be faulty or dirty sensor that allows the tilt lock actiavtion at slow speed.

 

Also when the bike hit speed bumps, the red light beeps and then shut down the engine for 3 secs like when the bike cannot accelerate if ride is off the seat when throttling. Do not think that the seat sensor problem is causing it as my butt still on the seat.

Called ADH but they said they do not have Master key (agent does not have but then who has)

 

Went Ah Boy & couple of locksmiths but they unable or unwillingly rather to help

1. at traffic lights, if you 'lock' the front wheels suspension....before the bike comes to a complete stop... then you don't need to put down your leg when you stop at traffic light.

the locking switch is just a the Right handle bar, that you can use your thumb.

 

2. during parking you also can 'lock' the front wheels suspension and then park...... if you do not want to lock the bike will drop like a 2 wheels bike.. but you can also use the main stand if you do not want to 'lock' the front wheels suspension when parking.

 

3. 125cc brand new cost about 13k to 14k... but please ask piaggio distributor "Ai De Hua Pte Ltd" Tel 6547 4466 ( mon-fri 930-6pm) for the latest update.

 

8. mp3 is a auto bike.... very easy to use....

Hi all, I am wondering which shop is selling MP3 400 at the lowest price..? Went to ADH and they only take full cash, they did recommend some distributor.. Which one do u all think is selling the lowest..?
