IU unit light is on, even when my bike is off

u know guys know the red led thingy on out iu unit? mine the red led keep remains on even if i off my bike, but iu seems to be working when i insert my cashcard. is it okay if i leave it alone or my battery will turn flat every morning? iu unit got problem, can go bike shop or must go other places?

go nearest vicom to get it checked?

if its under warranty maybe one to one exchange?

ehh... most prob ur iu is connect to the battery directly... most iu r connected to the ignition connector so tat the iu is off when the bike is off =)

Huh, I don't even know if the light on mine ever turns on. Only the screen led does when the card is in. hahahha

weird thing is that its actually working. i can go in carpark erp lol. guess i will made a trip down. hopefully tml morning batt wont be flat

VICOM will most likely not do anything for you. Happened to me before and the person at VICOM just told me some lame story that the IU has to be placed in the correct angle and stuff like that. There's no way that the angle of the IU will affect whether the light is on or not but I knew I was not going to be able to get it fixed so I just left it as it is.

 

It doesn't drain off too much batt. Its only one little LED

yup i just went abck to my bike, seems to be working fine my batt

 

the led on my iu unit might be on since i took over this bike, just that i didnt notice it . . because there was a cardboard thingy on the cover just removed it last week or so -_-

maye u can try to check ur wire connecting from the unit..if there's nuffin wrong..i would suppose that the IU unit is faulty and u can go Vicom for a inspection of the IU Unit.

just leave it!!! I also Leave it... Wont take up much of your Battery....

I had mine same problem as you guys.. But mine even worst.. Even insert cashcard also the same.. At the end of the day i went to vicom and got my IU exchanged..
