Happy CNY to all..

I tried the b-bone today and found the rear tire to be a little 'noisy'. It seemed to send quite a bit of vibration up the seat. Is this normal/common for this bike? Doesn't feel too comfortable for me.

I think It's normal belt driven at rear. Unless u feel the slipage of the belt then u will feel the minor vibration when start throttling..

Hi all,

anyone know of anywhere to do nice nice custom-tailored seat? and is there a SG website where I can view B-Bone mod. parts?:cheer:

U can get parts from everywhere as long as the shop willing to mod for u.If not, u only can get OEM mod parts from CKA. Parts u can search on net but not all parts CKA bring into SG, maybe u can request if u interested on something unique from them.

Just drop by CKA . They have demo bike and also catalog for BBone mod

Ur bike already a demo bike. 66 b-bone, the most popular b-bone. Somemore it's the bike of the month (which month i forget) in 2009 seh.. Happy CNY bro.

Hi B Bones bro n sis.

I'm so tired and sick of driving in the morning jam at BKE and PIE. So went for window shopping for bike last 2 weeks at couple of shops around Singapore and my eyes were glued at B Bone unique design. I spend a week reading from your interesting thread (due to time constraint). Thanks for your input that you all shared.

Will be picking my bone at BB CKA soon after the EFI is cleared by LTA. It was a good deal with few so call gifts at 6.8k OTR.

My concern is what model of yoshi pipes you guys use and how much?

Thankx all.

Can I ask if anyone tried replacing your stock airbox with something else? K&N perhaps? Can share a bit about the behavior of the bike? Thanks.

Thats right. EFI just like a car electronic fuel injection. I collected my bike on last thursday. I was very impressed with my first FC. It can go 32 km per litre. My third top up was today and the second top up run 31km/L. I was quoted $800++ by CKA BB Yoshi pipe and K&N filter for $120. Will consider those items in few months time after I am accustomed with current set up. Now still running like a turtle. Just waiting for the time when I can do normal cruising speed.

Nice. Wonder power-wise any difference a not. I was also wondering about exhaust. Looks like that's one mod to do.

I don't have much experience to compare the model comes with carb except for a brief ride during 5 mins test ride. I decided to have the one with EFI since its the latest model. But no regret. The pick up was wonderful (I don't really squeeze it hard yet), managed to go ahead about 5-6 car length after the green light is on before the rest starts tailing me. Now mileage 500++ and able to increase speed abit.

For aweek I got problem finding a place to duplicate my bike key, all shops said they don't have it. Even CKA BB don't carry a blank key. For those who can't find a locksmith duplicating your bike key, don't waste time searching around your neighbourhood. Go straight to a keyshop next to LAB/Regina bike accessories shop. They charged $5 worthwhile rather then you travel around your neighbourhood.

Thanks bro freeneasy for welcoming me to the club. The bike is really an attention grabber. Conversation just starts naturally by those who are curious about it. Last friday night after dinner, my pillion friend (non biker) and was wearing an apek singlet was taken a back when most of the patron at a makan stall opposite beuaty world bukit timah was staring at us when we were about to ride the bike. Quietly he asked me "is there any trouble and why was everyone looking at us?". My immediate and serious reply to him was, "yes you created the trouble, they are staring at your very hairy armpit and it has nothing to do with the bike". LOL.

In reply to bro kakarow - Performance wise I have yet to upgrade coz currently I just want to feel how far it can go with the factory spec. I only did the practical mod eg: I put up a cover with ventilation holes around under the seat so that I can create space to put up small items underneath. Things like my $100 air horn, bike cover, rubber bands, rags are hidden under the seat. The cover can be easily removed if I want the tru naked look again. The other thing was I created a hazard light with the button sitting on the top left of the front body. My plan for performance upgrade will take place after bonus lah.

top speed 105km/h, so yes cruising is best at 80-90km/h.

its an easy going ride. dont expect to be able to cut hogging vehicles with a sudden burst of power. after all, its only 125cc.

but its a head-turner, definitely. =)

Hi guys...

Planning to get a 2B bike for short commuting. Attracted by this B-bone looks. So might consider buying this. This will be my very first bike. So I am not really familiar with biking knowledge.

1. What is the depreciation cost of this bike?

2. Monthly maintenance?

3. If buy brand new, OTR price and what bike shop to buy from?

4. If buy 2nd, any other websites that have ppl selling it? Cant seem to find and B-bone on sale in SBF.

Thanks for your time!

1) erm... i dont really know, sorry abt that qtn.

2) installment and change engine oil. not much for all 4-stroke bikes anyway. only chg belt at abt 10-15k mileage.

3) best to check with CKA, the only sole dealer carrying daelim b-bone. i bought mine at 7k at that time.

4) only a handful of pple riding this bike and still pretty new. so it will tk a while before pple are gonna sell it.

Hi Mr unnamed79,

1. Not too sure.

2. Not much. Ive been riding B Bone for the last 6 weeks. Petrol V-power full tank can run about 30km/l equivalent to about 224km about 12 bucks on each top up. Oil change fully synthetic 22 bucks for a bottle. So for me per month its $48 + $22 = less then $70 per month. What a great saving comparable to my current car on each top up can reach $90 on each top up with 95RON.

3. I bought mine at CKA bukit batok at $6800 OTR.

4.Yesterday I saw a white bone at bukit batok FBD plate on sale - not sure the price.

5. For first timer I suggest you take 2nd hand coz tendency for you to upgrade to bigger bike is great in 1 to 2 years. For me as long as I got to point B and zippey. The choice is yours.....

White one in BB selling around 4k+ if i'm not wrong. Roughly know the price they take in too.

Mileage 27k, more than one year old. With some OEM mod parts.

Anyway FC cannot compare with car la bro. Any 2b bikes has better FC than any cars. :) Btw, u FC is quite good. Yours is EFI model? 12bucks Vpower can last so long?
