hi all just got my s4 ver s. i got one problem right now is that the temp light very easy light up---> mean temperature very high... need lao jiao to advice how to solve the problem...

Change the coolant.

i don noe much. but did some research on coolants. it's NOT a good idea w/o mixing wif water. wateveer the proportion is, it's definitely not 0% water. don try it on ur bike. if u have not done so...

dnt add water? wah lau, tht will make the bike heat up faster cause coolant itself (those used for foreign countries, which is commonly used here too) will keep the heat in as it was made in mind tht it will prevent rust to the radiator & prvent the radiator to be frozen. u have to mix in water so as to dilute the coolant to make the heat transfer out of the bike

recently i feel some vibrations from my foot peg... i think it is due to the engine vibrating more than last time....din used to feel them in the past.... wat is wrong wif my bike???

I only feel the more vibration when its time to change my EO.

Anyone knows how much to do the wheel balancing? Did my when I change my tyres but the weights given were those pasted on my rims. What i'm looking for is those CLIPS on my centre of my rims. (Refer to the Attachment)

 

And where can I get the Exhaust Protector? Like RVF those kind. Saw a S4 with it.

Ticking sound should be the timing chain.

1) Either ur timing chain is loose and need to be tighten that involve opening the engine.... or

 

2) U jus change ue Engine Oil that the quality is no suitable for ur bike or ur engine is too thick that have not flow thru out ur engine.... ( this happen if engine is too THCK or a cold engine.. )

Define Danger

Slower Speed = More Time On Road

Faster Speed = Less Time on Road

 

Thus

depends on the coolant itself.

 

Some are premix coolant that need not add water....

 

Some are jus coolant that require water.

 

Coolant system is a sucking process...

 

Theres 2 part of coolant in a bike 1) The engine ( include all those hot hot metal, that go into the pipe 2) the reserve tank..... Water in the part 1 will get heated up and will flow into part 2. and those water in part 2 after some time will cool down and sink to the bottom of tank and go to part 1 again....

 

Thus using too thick a coolant increase heat emittion... and slower the cooling process...

Define Danger

 

More time on road = More Danger

Less time on road = Less Danger

 

Slower Speed = More Time On Road

Faster Speed = Less Time on Road

 

Thus

Less Time on Road = Less Danger = Faster Speed~~

Engine oil...

 

That a saying that engine oil that enter a hot bike should not survive in the bike for more than 3 month, reason was due to after the heating the process, the desity of the oil will not be a new thus the life spend will be around 3months.

 

Or Change every 5000km for fully and 3000km for semi....

 

or when u feel the gear level abouit different

 

BUt dun practise the habit of changing it as u like as this will cos slightly more wear and tear. reason is that , engine in a bottle is at a different density thus need time and heat to break down to the suited one. U need time for the oild to break down and more to all parts of engine to protect it....

hi, peeps... dun noe whether this is the rite column to ask this... when u switch on the ignition for spec2, both the needles will calibrate, rite? is it better to start the engine during the calibration or after?

erm... me love bikes...

WAit for the HISS light to off then u start....It is to verify the key.

Dear S4 Riders BROS ,

 

i dont know if anyone got the problem for now , My Bike Vtec speedometer is not working when my bike is moving , but at some times it just moves by itself .

(suspect might be the wiring problem or going to spoil liao , RPM meter is still is fine .)

 

i have not go to my mechanic bike shop to check , will like check out with u guys first ?

 

B4 i kena CUT Throat (change the whole set of meter).

 

But it will good also (that means i am going an infinite speed ) ha ha :cheeky:

I didnt try it before but it was told to me by a Pro bike technician.He told me that pure coolant has higher boiling point than coolant that is mixed with water. And normally most bike shop wouldnt do that because they want you to change coolant faster and also make you think that changing coolant is cheap. :confused:

hi bro out there i have a problem regarding about my alarm i just fix.

ok here the problem, when i m moving around 5k RPM my alarm will sound off but when i try slowing down it does not sound at all... hmmmm???? :confused: :confused: and when i took out the nutrual wire and go at the same RPM it does not have sound anymore... so wat could be the problem??? :confused: :confused:

juz curious, when are we suppose to change our wheel bearings?

only turning? wat abt wobbling while going straight? cos i only feel the wobble while on straight roads, but turning dun feel...

 

anw, its just slight wobbling.. could it be wind blast?? i only feel it at speed of 90km/hr and abv..
