what kind of weird noise?

i believe if problems on noise, it is best if we hear them ourselves and not just

describing it here while others giving suggestions to rectify the problems.

Please remember that any suggestions here may or may not rectify your problems.

We are not online mechanics. Even professional mechanics need to see/hear your bike.

It is really sad to hear those people with problems appearing again in this thread saying...i did this already...why still got? Who's taking the responsibility here?

To those having problems.....

This thread is merely suggestions/unverified statements by friendly people down here.

Double-check with reliable mechanics and get them to show you what the hell is causing

that noise....you will feel more satisfied this way.

another ver s bites the dust... Mine...

its the rectifier prob again.... i think..

bike suddenly die off completely on my way home just now, wads more its only 50 more metres from my block, wad the %$@#... :sian:

was slowing down to filter left, clutched in to downshift when suddenly, "kechack", the whole bike just stall and all electronics die off (no headlights/signals/indicators), its like someone suddenly turned my keys off...

had to push it 20m along the busy rd into the cp while all upcoming vehs had to avoid me.

lagi :sian:

anyway, tried to push start once in cp, i just pushed the bike ard abit at gear 2 and it lighted up (signals/headlights/indicators) when i released clutch.

it started up immediately once i hit the starter.

hmm... the only time i had this experience was when i toppled my bike long ago, bike cannot start (no cranking when starter switch was pressed), at tt time managed to start also using the same method of 'push-start'.

but this time its diff cos i nber dropped it, tt time oso still got lights (electronics working) when the bike is switched on, only cannot start, now its whole bike that die off... nothing happened no matter how many times i fiddled wif the switch... hai~

any bros oso riding ver s out there had the same experience? issit even a symptom of the much discussed ver s rectifier problem?

haiz, although luckily no accident or any worse thing happened out of this incident, but now i damn sianz at this problem. :weep:

hmm, anyone who can confirm its rectifier issue (or worse, magnetic coil...gasp!)? :giddy:

got crank sound? might be carbon starter. can be ur batt old liao, voltage not enough

the last time i toppled it there was no cranking at all even wif all the lights on,

this time the whole electronics were shot, so no cranking oso.

btw, it seems like the bike has recovered after i manged to restart it last night(lights came back after i pushed my bike ard).

i was able to make my daily trip to/fro nus campus and hougang just now, but the throttling of my bike has gone 'soft', the revs feels more lethargic, of course pickup and response oso went down...

think will wait til the weekend til i visit the motortiam, want to check if its just a one off thing tt pops up occasionally on old bikes and if it'll slowly recover.

meantime, any checks (even repairs) tt anyone can recommend i do myself?

Hi all

I just encounter this problem today

My left signal light is not working, there is no light when i switch e indicator on.

The right signal light can work, and when i switch on hazard lights, both sides can light up.

any ideas on this issue? thanks in advance
