anyone experienced coolant slowly leaking on to the headers making it white in color??

 

also when traveling abt 90kph sometimes like engine about to stall.....

mine is vtec 1

help! just got bike yesterday.

made 3 trips yesterday and each time after leaving the bike for a few hours.

a patch smaller than palm size forms under the bike just in front of the side stand.

 

i really hope its not engine oil leaking.

previous owner said it might be the lube on the chain.

think he spray quite alot b4 handing over.

 

if problem persists.

will visit bikeshop.

i love dividends.

is the patch green? might be ur water pump seal spoil

is the indicator on the speedo [oil] for engine oil?

so at least i get a warning if engine oil really runs low?

 

 

[oil] indicator is on b4 starting engine.

goes off after engine started. normal?

i love dividends.

recently, whenever i start my bike after 8-12 hours, i press ignition and my pipe will go "pop".. it doesnt happen over the 1yr+ i ride.. just recent only.. anything wrong with my s4?

when u on the bike tht time, everything will light up one, so dnt worry

rich mixture ? or u do rev b4 killing the engine resulting in left over petrol in the carbs

definitely thicker than water, but not very thick.

 

just now tried to clean up the floor, water just flow above it, the leak waterproof the ground liao. later try to clean up the floor again, if not dangerous.

just brought my s4 to asphoon toh guan to get it checked.

one look and the mechanic said its the chain thats too wet.

guess previous owner spray hell lot of lube b4 transfer on sat.

 

going back after another 200km to get my EO changed at the same time let him check the whole bike.

i love dividends.

its pretty strange to have chain lube dripping until like tht. hows the rear rims & tires? dirty from the chain lube?

 

u might wanna try planet motors, the boss is gd in troubleshooting, i go there when i cant figure out the prob

nv note anything on rims and tires.

 

will visit planet if problem persists after 1 week.

Hi guys... I am new S4 rider so hope can get some help from you guys... Whne I slow down there is this ti ti ti ti sound came out from the front and it sound like the is from the handle but had tried tighten every things but the sound is still there... it is more clear if I just move off and slow down...

 

Also when travel at fast speed when slow down there is is feeling like some things is gonna fall off from the engine but after checking there is no loosen parts... the feeling is like glog glog glog.... sight....:giddy:

Slow will get you to your destination always.

i think it's the rubber seal need to change.The other time i also encounter this problem but luckily still under warrany so went back to bike shop and they just replace one of the rubber seal at the gasket( err...dunno what's that call.)

Costed me $10 as the mechanic says they are charging me for the change of coolent as removing the item will cause the coolent to flow out.(not too sure if it's real or they are just trying to earn some $$$)

hi guys,

 

jz bot a pair of bulbs rated 12v/21/5.. coz my right signal fused.

wat does it mean? the 2nd n 3rd figure..

 

i checked my fused bulb, it states 12v/21/60..

n the other side of my signal light (which is working) says 12v/18/5...

 

so which is the supposedly correct rating?

(the new ones i bot works aniway)

My version R when riding midway from SLE to TPE the temp LED lights up when I on the fan switch the red light disappeared. Anyone have any idea what went wrong. Is it have anything to do with the coolant system, does it means that is the radiator clogged? Do advise..

Help! Am riding ver S and recently,feel lost of acceleration..and when i open throttle,engine noise very loud but is not accelerating. Moreover,at the left top block got a hole right,coolant is leaking when the engine is hot. But its not like flowing out,just dripping a few drops, some times,oil(also dripping). And somemore,my s4 becums very hot even when i travel short distance like 5km. also feel alot of vibration on the foot rest of riders' and pilions'. why? PLs enlighten!!! THanks.

 

for info :

EO,plugs just changed only.

Magnetic coil got some problem not producing enough electricity.

batt low voltage cos magnetic coil not functioning well.

CDI also suffering minor problem.

Things yet done : Front & Rear Number Plate(Yellow Base and Black Alphanumeric),Rim Respray,Rear Suspension Service,Chain and Spockets,3points Crashbar,Rear Hugger(arrow),Brake Calipers Respray,Side Stand,Front Wheel Brake Pad,Lizard Skin for Brake Lining and Rear Suspension Springs

 

Still Considering : Pro Taper Handle Bar,Rear Suspension Riser,Givi Rack and Box,Spec 1 or 3 Tail Board,Modify Header,Digital Meter,Clear Headlight(Spec3)

congrats, ur block is leaking, thus ur coolant & oil coming out. its gng to cost 1k+ to fix it.

 

i have no ans for ur footrest vibrating cause also vibrate quite a bit.
