Troubleshoot ur Super4!

hi... my Ver. S have this pull back feeling... even with New Engine oil (Semi)... then engine always got the Tappet Sound... tick tick tick...

no Engine oil leak... but just poorer and poorer performance...

sian man... can anyone help???

when u turn the throttle it does now "whip" back

it is due for change pretty soon.

try doing a carb wash n re-tune, as well as change ur plugs, air filter, oil filter if u haven change them for a long time. ..

 

tappet sound is quite normal, esp at startup.. if persist or very loud, the cam chain located in the engine is loose..

 

check component list for prices..

My Spec II very high FC leh.. Just got it one month a ago Pls help ~!!

1litre can go only 16km/L , Seldom Open vtec when traveling.

 

Sparksplug (Change Liao)

Carb ( Havent service )

My K&N air filter looks new to me.

if u have problems regarding vibrations in ur Cb's i think u must consider checking several things like the ff. : ur fork oil, ur headset, ur wheel bearings, ur tires( tires have expiration) & last ur wheel balance if correct. If a vibrations or noise @ ur engine: check the sparkplugs, if carb is clean, if ur tank is clean( sometimes water get in ur tank), air filter & syncro ur carbs. If u change ur pipes u must reset ur carbs like change of jettings & once again syncro ur carbs. If cranking sound is heared frm ur engine u got major problem in ur engine(consult the specialist). Hope this msg help u, so u cannot be fooled by scupulous mechanics. by: a "HARUROOT (to rush) Riders" of the Phils.

re: im riding a vtec II . Bike tends not to pick up speed after 90km/hr with rpm 6~6.5. Throttle ram full and see only rpm only 6~7rpm.

-if u change ur end-can(exhaust pipe) to after-market there must be an adjustment done to ur jettings & diaphram of ur carbs or else it will always tend to loose power at high speed. stock bikes are good with stock parts.

bro, i using half tong end can but i haf no problem with the FC..

 

when i just got my bike normally is 290 - 300km then reserve, now getting better can reach ard 310 - 320 then reserve.. better get ur carb service n tune..

 

btw got a question to ask u, do u encounter any lag on ur rpm when u whack ur throttle fast while during warm up? cos i facing tis problem, when i whack the throttle during warmup my rpm will lag n choke like tat.. i suspect due to tong end can..

A bit lag, is normal ba..Had you service your carb? Or maybe go for re-tuning loh. So far when i start my bike in the morning, and i slightly wack a bit, the rpm up very fast, no lagging as wht u mention.

 

My FC damn high:help: This sat maybe goin down K&T for some servicing.

i just change Engine oil.. but the sound got louder...

from normal engine oil to Semi syn...

 

haha... i will try retune my Cab... and change my plugs...then see how...

Yo super4 BROS outhere..i got some problem with my vtec1..hope u guys can give some advice huh...hmm..firstly...my RPM N METER suddenly not functioning(not moving at all)..my mileage meter also gone...any1 ever experience it?..n 1 more thing..i got this sound coming frm ma engine i guess..like a tack2...tack2..but when u pull ur clutch lever in..the sound gone..but after warming up the bike..the sound seem to be gone?..is it normal?..do i need to change the tensioner?..ever heard of this?...thks folks..im in dilemma...

wahhh, we got the same problem bro... btw both my speedo meter and RPM not werking... ask ard, they say could be the sensor....

Seemz lye no1 have iz problem b4... vibration on rider n pillion footpegs wen bike reached 90 - 100km/hr

yo2...LAB is located in KELantan lane..sungei RD there...btw..hav u check ur tyre pressure?..mayb not enough..n can cause some vibration though..just a thought..but if the vibrate prolong too long..suggest u go ask MECH..

i lube my chain with a light layer every wk. as for washing.... i am not sure... only wash it with degreeser when its too dirty... but till now... have nt done it as my lub is very thin.. so won't get stuck with sand....

hi my vtec valve cant open up n i check it using vtec indicator, i found tat maybe my solenoid bar is jam or wat ever my fuse r alright but my indicator don light up when hit 7k any 1 know how much the bar cause or can it be service...

i know nothing bout that.... but then just some stuff to check 1st before u bring it to the shop for servicing or trouble shooting, how do u know that the vtec aren't open? could it be open but is the vtec indicator faulty or installed wrongly or not... all these are things u can check 1st before u deduce that the vtec valve is faulty. i am no expert in this, just some sharing that i thought might be possible. cos i am new to the vtec too and i nv open vtec b4.

Hi...i also got problem wif my speedo meter not working n my bike(spec III) like no power cannot speed above than 100km...can anyone tell mi wat problem?? Thanks
