Spray some WD40 inside ur starter switch..

Have a problem again here....

 

The chain was never clean and when on gear..the chain was a bit noisy grat grat sound ...lube it and never comes back the grat grat feeling...but somehow abit abit....AFter that..i did a full clean of the chain and tighten abit BUT not too tight...now on Gear...grat grat feelings totally gone...BUT when on hold of clutch at low speed like 10km-20km...the sound and feelings came back...geeeezzzz....i sit on it and push or push it without me sitting on the bike will have tat sound too..is my chain a goner or front sproket is not adjust properly?Chain is lube properly and evenly..I pushed the bike till the sound occurs..i will stop and check the chain and it was tight!!!!when push abit more...it became lose..not much experince in these wheather to cfm chain spoil or alignment ran off?? :confused:

bro...same here..got the same problem b4...use WD40 spray inside the switch of ur horn and it will do the trick...try that first..

hi everyone i jus got my s4....can any s4 rider tell me is normal when starting up the bike, press the ignition button plus abit of throttle on?? cause i try bbdc s4 is jus press the ignition button and the bike wil start up... :confused:

if the bike is veri hot, it shld take a few times to start but if cool down liao, shld be able to start normally

wat i meant is tht if ur bike is under my description then its normal, if everytime have to throttle then its not normal. batt weak or not jus take it to bike shop ask them test for u

Hi guys

 

Need some help :( when i am riding and when i trottle befor the Vec mark ..everything is fine but once after it it seem i cant keep the rpm stable ... e.g. at 8k rpm it is still ok then suddenly when i slightly increase the trottle it suddenly shoot up to 10k rpm then slowly go back down to 8.5k rpm .. this only happen with i increase the trottle even very slightly at time it be like that... but when below 6.5k rpm everything is normal..

 

do i need to service the carb, or change air filter as i have not change it for 1 year liao but my mileage is only 12k or is this a bigger problem ?

 

please do help ..thanksss

i got problem with my front brakes....

just changed brake pads....when i brake i hear buzzing sounds from the brake disc....when i tap the front brakes the sound comes on and off.....

is there problems with the brake disc or the pads?

the pad is not run in yet.

try to press ur brake lightly as u travel. it will help to run in the pad faster.

after which it shld be quiet. but it all still depend on the condition of the pad. as in is the pad well known for creating alot of noise? or dust.

 

if yes... then u have to live with it.

i am not too sure if WP will give this sound anot.

try the above method 1st and see how.

(it is the same for the original pad. 2 pair for the front, 1 pair for the rear)

(stock bike is using nisin brake pad, HH compond)

 

3) is EBC = Honda brand brake pad

(no, EBC is another brake pad avaliable in the market)

 

4) BTW got the brand of honda brake pad , is it better than EBC?

(actually the original pad are pretty good too, dun change it until u have worn it out.)

 

5) EBC consider good or medium grade one ah?

(EBC is juz a name/brand. it is usually the material that the pad are make from that make it more ex. alot of ppl will tell u HH is good. cos it can restand higher heat thus the brake will not fade (lay man term mean.. the brake fail))

EBC is one of the best brake pads u can find in the market... If not, its the best...

 

As to how much, I forgot liao... U hav to check wif the bike shops...

 

To me, its gd to put ur front brake pads wif EBC. But for ur rear, u can use pads which r nt so 'jia' (good), coz for me, I scared I apply too much rear brake to the rear... Den.... haha... U know wad will happen rite? The a/m r jux my personal opinion...

Hey guys sorry .... somethings wrong with my rpm .....

 

It starts off ok ... but then after 10 minuts or so it gets stuck at 2.5k rpm thru out ..... but when i change gears it drops to the idel point then picks up again ...

i suffer a sudden loss of power .... can be scary

 

anyone had this?

hai...mine is everytime... sometime clutch jus release to much til stall, then very troublesome stil mus on throttle to start... btw how old is your batt??? s redname said it might due to low or poor batt... i jus got my s4 so lack of money, jus change eo cause 80++, wheel botak stil haven change le... got to wait til got money first

My RPM meter seems to be shootin up ....

 

starts off ok ..... but after 10 min or so it jumps up by a 1000.

 

when i clutch in it remains high ..... but when i change gear frm 1st to 2nd .... there's a drop in the rpm .... and i suddenly lose some power .....

hi my problem here is when i move off i haf a delay le no power lye tat tan u trottle more it will move normal y is tis so... previously change my 4 rubber at the carb there but problem still persist... help plzzz
