INTEREST CHECK

North Thailand Trip

wil go the loop at least to chiang mai, mai hong san, chiang rai, and if have time, round back from Isan to Pattani and Betong

 

Date : Jan 2010 (TBC), any week is fine

Day : 14 days, need to apply 2 weeks leave

Total distance : 9000km

Time to meet : TBC

Place to meet : GP Petronas

This is not a joke... although the plan is early as some may say, it is at least for ur proper planning if u have the heart to join...

 

Else, I wil go solo...

 

I think due to some of our work commitment, hard to apply for 2 weeks 1 shot.....

 

2 weeks i will shoot to laos if bike can make it.

Yesterday ask u go Kluang Ba Ku teh, u dun wan, u must be eating steroid at home. :clapping:to come out with this today, esp.. the " I go solo" part :lol: I hope u are not refering to me , I did not say that your trip is a joke, but it is indeed early, do u need plenty of planning,?. in my opinion, u need :

 

1. a good bike

2. money

3. time

 

these are the 3 most impt elements to conquer the trip.

 

It will not be a rally to Sahahra desert in paris - dakar style, so the ride is not as tough as u think in terms of riding exp and endurance.

 

2 and 3 u can start working on it .

 

For 1. if u have no confidence in the cond. and ability of your ride (soundless), you can still try , but you do not have to make the full blast up and down. In early days , I came to know that the paiggio hexagon had made it to the GT, but if u are still conservative:

 

Options include:

 

training your bike and u from JB to Penang

then ride Hatyai

Training your bike and u from Hatyai to Bangkok

 

then u start the 'real ride' , believe me the ride from Bangkok to Chiang Mai is more beautiful, u will be riding thru mountain and contryside.

 

Lastly., I will try to make it with you if can, but definitely cannot commit now.

Things will start to clear perhaps in Oct - Nov.

 

we cannot let him ninja fail becasue:

You are so LAO JIAO till we dare not jio you. Lets hope that 1 day you won`t be Lao jiao till become L** JIAO. There won`t be any special plan with any of our trip.

 

Judging from your signature, you travel to there with such a light gear? ..... WAhahahaha.

To be frank, sometimes ur comment is quite sacarstic. Even though U mean it well.

 

I posted it early is to let other people to have time n mentaly prepare if they wanna go. For me no issue, I can even load up and go tomorrow if I wish.

 

I do not wish to post up picture big big... but I have traveled this bike to KSM (think u rem), so what training abt JB to Penang u talking abt? And for info, I have also traveled to Chiang Mai with a Kup Kia, well, as u said, no need to prove to others.

 

I noe u mean well, but I appreciate next time u can consider ur word in a proper manner before u start to offend people. To me, ur word is quite sacarstic to my liking.

To be frank, we do not have any special plan to invite you. We will post inside a thread to find interested people to join. If you want just put name and don`t come show off your Lao Jiao experience. Some other experience tourer just keeps their humbler comment to their self. Hope you better change your phasing of word before more will come from us.
