buying new bike!!! but stock haven come!

Got somethin to ask u all!!!

 

I went to As Poon to buy a new lx150 at end of oct..

i sign a lots of doc but nv ask me pay deposit.

till now 1mth + the bike still haven come..

then the coe tt time is 1.5k, i call n ask say i don wan buy liao, but they ask me to pay $500.. how sia??

 

then the coe how? now is cheaper bout 1k...

is he cheatin me???

Did u ask him how much your COE will cost?

 

Or did you assume that you got carroted and dun want to buy?

 

By the way, you sign all the docs and they went to the trouble to order / import one for you and now you say you dun wan, i think its only reasonable you pay some penalty... morally...

 

Anyways, there is alot of maybes and i myself like you, didnt bother to ask too much. But i have learnt my lesson and i suggest you enquire more before any further actions.

Check with them and see if you had accidently signed a piece of agreement stating the amount you had to pay them if you cancel the order.

 

When I buy my bike, my bikeshop also made it clear to me that I had to pay a certain amount if I cancel my order and they had me signed for it which I think is fair. The amount is 10 times of yours. Of course we had reached a agreement of no more hidden charges upon collecting the bike. Meaning, even the COE is fixed.

 

The bike shop also need to cover their a**.
